2. Me: This is an interview between me and the
managing director of Film4 production, Daniel
Battsek.

3. Me: What type of films do Film 4 tend to
produce?

4. David: We have a reputation for producing some
of the most successful independent coming of age
films ever. We also work with small international
film producers to create a variety of films for
different demographics.

5. Me: Why do you think our film is suitable for
your film company to produce?

6. David: As I said before, we like to make unique
independent film projects, just like yours, which
makes it a perfect fit for our film company. A few
of our films include 127 hours, 12 years a slave
and Starred up.

7. Me: What was it about our idea in particular that
made you want to invest your time, effort and
money into it?

8. David: We liked your idea because there aren’t
many films about abuse on the market as it
attracts a different demographic. I thought it
would reach out to a lot of people who have
suffered from abuse and although it isn’t covered
much, it will get a passionate audience.
