Our target audience was people in social class E (students and unemployed people) who would be above the age of 15. We aimed to attract this audience by focusing our horror film CARO on the effects and past of the main protagonist Jason Flint, rather than on a group, which would capture the audience's interest. We would address the audience by opening the film with a glimpse of its ending before cutting back to before the apocalypse began, drawing them in and making them want to find out how the story concludes for the protagonist.

UNDERSTANDING WHAT GREEN WASHING IS!.pdfJulietMogola
Many companies today use green washing to lure the public into thinking they are conserving the environment but in real sense they are doing more harm. There have been such several cases from very big companies here in Kenya and also globally. This ranges from various sectors from manufacturing and goes to consumer products. Educating people on greenwashing will enable people to make better choices based on their analysis and not on what they see on marketing sites.
1. How Did You Attract/Address
Your Audience.
Evaluation Question 5
2. Who Was My Audience?
• Our product was aimed at people in the social class E because this
group involves mostly students and the unemployed. We thought this
would be the ideal target for our media product because the are all
above the age certificate which we had planned to be a 15 and we
thought that it would appeal to tis social group the most as they
would find it the easiest out of the majority of social groups to
connect with our main protagonist Jason Flint therefore making them
more affected by the events of our film.
3. How Did we Attract The Audience
• CARO is different to other horror films of its sub-genre because it
focus’ more on the effects and past of one person, Jason Flint, Than
on the effects of the apocalypse on a group or pair of people such as
films like “28 days later” and “Zombieland”. This would attract the
audience as it would capture there interest for the main protagonist
as the whole film would be aimed at the viewer making links with the
main protagonist so that the character himself can attract them to the
Horror opening.
4. How Would You Address Your Audience?
• We would Attract the audience because the opening to our horror
film emphasizes the ending of the film but cuts back to the beginning,
before the start of the apocalypse, this would address the audience as
it causes them to want to find out what is going to happen to the
main protagonist at the very end of the film drawing the audience in
and making them want to come and see the film on its release date
therefore addressing our main target audience.
