How Did You Attract/Address Your Media
               Product?
I attracted and addressed my media product through the use of my pictures
and the story. The pictures I tried to not make boring, and as seen on my
double page spread was heavily photo shopped to have an all black
background, graffiti style neon text above the drummer, and neon streaks
behind. These also continued on to behind the text box, so this looked
friendlier and not so daunting and long. The text I kept as short as possible,
and wrote it in a very friendly casual way, without going too far and being
stupid and sarcastic, which could cause issues with bad press and causing
offense. I also used pugs and puffs on the front cover to attract my audience,
as by offering free stuff which is relevant to them, will make them by the
magazine, but by making it a subscription, it means they will have to have
more than 1 issue, boosting the sales of the magazine. Lastly, the colors I used
were to attract the audience, by being bright it is noticeable, so not only gets
the target audience recognizing it quickly, but it means other non-readers of it
will know of its presence and could try it themselves.
