2. CAMERA: CANON D600
We have used the Canon
D600 camera throughout our
project to film our trailer and
film videos for our blog. This
camera allowed us to capture
clean, smooth shots with a
great range of focus, it also
allowed us to alter the
brightness of the scene on the
go as we could easily alter the
ISO and the aperture.
3. BLOGGER
We used blogger to document our research
pre-production, production and post
production processes. It allowed us to use
other sites such as YouTube and Slide
Share to present our work in video or
presentation formats. This was also a way
to appeal to our audience as they would be
able to access this blog easily.
4. SLIDE SHARE
Slide Share was a great way to
present our work in a professional
way. We were able to create a
PowerPoint and upload it to
blogger as a slide show.
5. TWITTER
We used twitter to give our audience
updates on production and give them
little sneak peaks of the finished product.
This allowed us to easily interact with the
audience in a way that appealed to our
target audience
6. ANIMOTO
Animoto allowed us to create a
video presentation with a number
of animation. This gave us a more
interesting way to present our work.
It also allowed us to have another
way to show our research that
wasn’t just Slideshare or essays
7. PHOTOSHOP
We used Photoshop when it
came to creating our
magazine front cover as it
allowed us to easily touch up
the photo, changing colour in
the background and adding
text which was all very
simple.
8. HIT FILM PRO 3
We used the editing software HitFilm Pro 3
which was very good as it allowed us to easily
import footage into the program and contained
a lot of pre-set effect such as colour correction
and letterboxing in which we could edit to make
it our own. It also helped when adding sound as
with its easy click and drag editing and its built in
level system it was very easy to change the music
to match the action.
