2. Company name, logo and film
name
We decided that our company name will be Firefly Productions. The
reason we picked this particular name was the fact that firefly's
aren't something you generally don't think about, until you see them
and for that time they fill your mind completely and from then on
their always in your memory.
Our film is called ‘ Footsteps and Tyre tracks’ . Our film is about a
journey of a girl and boy and how the boy will go any distance to find
his true love.
3. Marketing
To market our film we are going to use a wide range of techniques which
effectively reach our target audience. Our trailer for ‘Footsteps and tyre
tracks’ will be around 2-3 minutes long and will be posted on the
internet on sites like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and many more.
Social media will be our strongest way of feeding our audiences
information by setting up a Facebook and Twitter page which will
contain information about release dates, interviews, pictures of the cast
and crew, as well as behind the scene footage of making the film.
We will advertise using billboards in busy city centres; take part in
interviews on the radio, in magazines and on evening talk shows.
We will distribute our film posters to schools and colleges who we will
randomly select, and they will then spread the word by telling their
friends.
We will market our film in Empire magazine, were we will be on the
front cover, and have a double page spread, talking about the plot of our
production and the characters, which will create buzz and anticipations
amongst our audience.
5. BBFC
Our film is going to be 12A as our film doesn’t contain sex
scenes and very mild language.
We don’t have any real violence and our audience range
from 12-24. Our characters are relatable to this kind of
audience as they are stereotypical college students showing
over exaggerated views of young love.
The 12A requires an adult to accompany any child under
12 seeing a 12A film at the cinema. This is enforced by
cinema staff and a cinema may lose its license if adult
accompaniment is not enforced for children under 12
admitted to a 12A film.

Her clothing is very simplistic and not over the top similarly

door who wears very casual but preppy clothing. He is seen
wearing skinny jeans, jumper, boots and a casual jacket.
• Finn- Ted: Brown hair and brown eyes. Clothes are a little
nerdy, looking very smartly dressed on a daily basis. He
wears trousers, shirt and smart shoes.
• Jess- Riley: Red hair and brown eyes. She wears fairly
casual clothing, like jeans, t shirt and trainers. Makeup is
minimal, and dresses very similarly to friend Emily.
9. Synopsis
• The story starts off with Lucas (Played by James Green) and Emily (Georgia
Archer) falling in love at the beginning of college. However, when caught in a
gruesome car accident, Emily barely clings to her life. Over the next few months
she recovers well, but even that comes at a price as she loses her memory of the
past year. Slowly it returns, but she doesn’t remember Lucas. With holes in her
memory she runs away, conflicted and leaving Lucas alone.
• After realising life is terrible without her, he decides to leave everything behind
and travel the country in pursuit of her, and win her back the only way he knows
how: by playing their song.
• He's not facing this mammoth task alone, as he’s accompanied by his best friend
Theodore (Finn Doherty).
• With only a guitar, good spirits and his best pal beside him, the two embark on an
exceptional adventure to find Emily who is having a wonderful journey of self
discovery and with every day learns more about herself, yet still desires
something that’s missing.
