Both male and female teenagers 15 and older can enjoy the film, expanding its potential audience, though it contains strong language and violence unsuitable for younger viewers.

1. Who would be the audience for your media product?
Our target audience various because there are a lot of different age groups that watch thriller films and
psychological thrillers.
I think people that are most likely to watch our final film opening would probably be teenagers around the age 15-
19 this would be because teenagers are most likely to go to the cinema with friends and watch a movie scary
movie all together. This would give my final film opening a bigger audience because teenagers normally like to talk
about what films they have watched, meaning I would have a higher chance of my film succeeding the in
exhibition.
My final opening is not aimed at any gender in particular. So both genre would probably watch it and like it. The
fact that I have aimed it for both genres would be an advantage for me because it gives my film a bigger audience.
Also the reason the target audience is 15+ is because there is strong language and violent scenes during the film so
I cannot aim my final opening for anyone age lower the 15. I know this because I did some research on the CBBFC
website and I know what the boundaries are for every age group.
