Response 3: lipsyncing was well done
Response 4: good editing
Response 5 : the use of the black background looked god
Response 6: I liked the shots are the beach
Question 4: What improvements could be made next time?
Response 1: more variety of shots
Response 2 : more locations
Response 3: maybe some more upbeat editing
Response 4: more people in the video
Response 4: different locations
Response 5: more shots
This questionnaire has given me both positive and negative feedback which could help me if
I were to repeat this task. The questionnaire helped tell me that my music video fitted the
genre well as the actual genre is between pop and indie and both these were answered. The
comments about how to improve were very helpful as a lot of people mentioned locations
and more shots which I would have liked to do if I did this again. Tis questionnaire was
extremely helpful for me to see what other people’s views were other than just media
students/ teachers.
I also posted my video on twitter in which a range of people responded including other
media students who also gave me feedback on my music video which was really helpful.
Here are some of the responses I received:
• The intro is really nice and the lens flare looks really cool, maybe use shorted clips to
make the pace of the video quicker
• Really liked the shots and the slow -motion parts the shots by the beach were really
good as well.
• Lip syncing was really effective and I liked the ghosting effect you did, maybe use a
bigger variety of shots
• Love the use of slow motion in the same bits of the song to add a pattern
• Really enjoyed by maybe have some more people
• Love the song and lip sync
• Well done! Enjoyed watching
By sharing my music video and asking questions about it from other people has allowed me
to see where improvements could be made as well as highlighting the things people thought
went well. I’ve learnt that my music video managed to work well with the song and the
music genre making t enjoyable to watch for the audience. By being given both positive and
negative feedback it has allowed me to re-watch my work an see the res that people
pointed out and allowed me to reflect on my work and see what I could do better next time.
