Through constructing their product, the author learned about a wide range of technological options, especially with Photoshop. While initially unsure how to use Photoshop, the author gained confidence over time and learned advanced tools and effects, such as removing backgrounds and adding filters. The author also explored new methods of capturing images, like using a camera's burst mode to quickly take multiple shots and select the best one. Photoshop proved to be the main technology learned during the construction process.

1. Q6) What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing
this product?
What I have learnt about technologies through the process of constructing my
product is that there are such a wide range of options, for example during my
time I took to Photoshop the images. At first I was not confident with using this
software at all but as the task went on I become more confident and was able to
use more advanced tools, effects ect. This was evident because of the way I
edited some of the images, for example the main image on my front cover I took
the background out of the image so I just had my model in the image which was
something that took a lot of time and was something I was able to do in my
preliminary task. With the same image I also used a filter which is something
that I also have never used before. Photoshop was the main technology that I
used throughout the construction and I believe I have learnt a lot just from
Photoshop.
I have used different methods of gaining images to what I have done before, for
example I did use burst effect on the camera that I used in order to gain a lot of
images in a short space of time and I could chose my favorite out of the bunch. I
did try and use other effects using the camera but these did not seem as effective
and so this was really the only effect that I used to gain an image.
