2. What is the technology that I used?
 YouTube, PowToon, Prezi, Slideshare, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Word,
Weebly, Cameras, Photoshop, Google.

3. What did I use the technology for?
 Microsoft Powerpoint- I used this for some of my evaluation questions and to do my
Moodboard and my Style Sheet, and some questions for my preliminary task.
 Powtoon- I used this to do some of my evaluation questions.
 Weebly- This is were I uploaded all of the stuff I have done.
 Cameras- I used these to take the pictures of the images for my magazine.
 Slideshare- I used this to upload my PowerPoints to my weebly account.
 Google- I used this to get images for my fictional profiles and for my preliminary textual
analysis.
 Prezi- I used this to complete question 1 for my main task evaluation.
 Photoshop- I used this software so I could edit all my parts to my college magazine and for
my main task.
 Microsoft Word- I used this to write my fictional profile as well as my textual analysis for my
preliminary task.

4. Pros and Cons of Technology
 Microsoft Powerpoint- When I was using PowerPoint I had trouble with moving my images to the correct
places, but once I got used to the software again it was very easy to use.
 Powtoon- Powtoon is a very good website in terms of the transition options and the props, but it was hard
to find good ones as the website was quite vast and complicated.
 Prezi- Prezi was easy to use and the likes the way the slides moved across and how you could put one
slide within another one, but because of the template I used it was hard fitting my images into to circle
and it was also difficult with uploading certain images because of their format.
 Cameras- The cameras that I used were of good quality and took very clear and precise pictures,
however because we didn’t use the flash we couldn’t take good pictures in dim settings.
 Weebly- Uploading the content to weebly was straight forward as you could upload various things in
different formats, however for my question 1 of the evaluation I wasn’t able to upload it as there was
something wrong with weebly.
 Google- Using google was easy and simple and it didn’t take very long, there were no disadvantages.
 Photoshop- Photoshop was very technical and it was hard to edit my images as there was so many
things you could do to the image.
 Microsoft Word- Microsoft word is easy to use it is reliable, although when I lost my work when the
computer crashed, Microsoft word didn’t auto save my work so I had to start again

5. How would you do things differently?
 I would have taken more pictures myself so I know that my
images wouldn’t be the same as other peoples.
 I would do more research into using Photoshop so it would be
more familiar with me.
 I would use different ways of presenting my questions i.e.
using different presentation software.
 I would have spent more time on each element of the CW.
 I would have used go-anime so I could have produced a
contrast.

6. What have learnt about technologies from the
process of consulting this project?
 I have learnt how to manipulate text and images to make my
magazine seem conventional.
 I have learnt how to use Photoshop, and I have learnt how to
use the different features i.e. layering to make my masthead
standout.
 I have learnt how to copy and paste images into their
appropriate places.
 I have learnt how to use PowToon and Prezi and how to add
images and effect to enhance the design.
 I have learnt how different colours can attract reader, and
how they can trigger emotions.
