Creating a Cohesive Brand Identity Across Music Video, Packaging and Website

2. When creating my three products, the music video, digipack and website. I tried to
make the three compliment each other and create an overall brand identity. I
created my music video first and then designed my website and digipack around
the feel of the video. I performed the photoshoot’s in the same locations where the
filming took place and had the artists wear the same costumes so all images were
consistent in style and theme.
3. I also used similar colourschemes
such as using the autumny orange
colours like the wooded scene in my
music video and put them into my
digipack design so the two would be
consistent. I also based the colours
used in my website around the look
of the band’s logo so again, the
digipack and website would look
consistent and create an overall
brand identity.
4. Other ways I created brand identity
was the use of font styles, I purposely
used bold, angular fonts so they
would look similar in style and
represent Dark appliance’s brand
identity.
Overall I think the combination of all
three texts was very effective as
they looked to create an overall
product and the use of
colours, fonts, costumes and
settings gave the band a brand
identity that audiences can identify
with.
