The document evaluates the antifungal potential of aerial parts of Leucas lavandulifolia. Leucas lavandulifolia was collected from Assam and its benzene and acetone extracts were tested against Trichophyton rubrum and Microsporum fulvum fungi. Both extracts showed antifungal activity, with benzene extract showing a higher level of activity against Trichophyton rubrum and acetone extract being more effective against Microsporum fulvum. The standard drug miconazole nitrate demonstrated the greatest antifungal activity against both fungi.
