I used both Mac and Windows computers along with different memory sticks to transfer work between operating systems and locations. I took all photos for my magazine using a Canon EOS 450D SLR camera to ensure high quality images. I learned to use Picnik to efficiently edit photos and give my magazine an authentic look. I used Fireworks to create my magazine, changing colors, shapes and fonts. I created accounts on blogger, slideshare, and Flickr to present my work in engaging, non-boring ways. Overall I gained experience with new technologies like Photoshop, Slideshare, and Prezi to produce high quality work.

2. Hardware I used both my IMac & windows computer at school to create my magazine; I learnt to deal with swapping with both different operating systems well & different programs used on both. I also used 2 different memory sticks to transfer work I had done at home to my schoolwork shop and from Mac to pc, one was used for photographs and the other for text and magazine.

3. Camera I used my Cannon EOS 450D SLR camera to take all my photos with, Too give my images the most crisp and clear resolution as the camera is used by professionals and make them look like they were done by a real professional.

Programs I have learnt how to use Picnic and how to edited pictures on the software efficiently and effectively to give my magazine an authentic look, there are many different changes you can do to a picture using picnik he is me editing a photo, I also briefly used Adobe Photoshop CS3 editing my photos a little more in my preliminary task

5. Programs I used Fireworks to create my magazine on, changing colors shapes and sizes of my magazine to make it look professional, I also used it to tweak my masthead and other fonts I used in my magazine. Without this software I would not of been able to create my magazine.

6. Programs I created a account on a blogging site “blogger” to post all my research and my planning and anything else that is relevant to my media course, as it is a very good way of presenting my information so it does not look boring & dull.

7. Programs I used “Microsoft PowerPoint” to create some of my presentations on, as it is a much more appealing to the eye then a paragraph of text and then I upload them to “slideshare” so they could be uploaded to my Blogger site

8. Programs I also created an account on Prezi which I used to create my evaluation on as I think it is very effective and different experience which is more interactive then PowerPoint and has more features to make it much more appealing

9. Programs I also created an account on Flickr which I used to present some of my evaluation on as it enables me to label my magazine easily and it also makes the picture of higher quality, instead of writing or using arrows to the image which can be messy.

10. Overall Overall I think I have learnt a lot about what different technologies are involved in creating a magazine, I had never used Slideshare or Photoshop before but now I feel confident and I think I have achieved a high standard of work, I have also be introduced to new forms of presenting my work for example Prezi.
