1. Analysis
From collecting the results from my magazine questionnaire, I made my
decisions on the theme, colours, font, name and image of my front cover.
I first of all decided on the main image. The image is of a world super star
R&B singer, Beyoncè. The Image has a golden glow theme which when I decided
the colour of the font I chose an orange colour which looks attractive along
with the golden glow background image of Beyoncè. The colours compliment
each other.
After gathering the main image of choice from my questionnaire, and a font
that suited, I decided on the appropriate strap lines. I was aware that I was going
to use a story on Beyoncè as the main image was of her, but I needed an up-to-
date story. However I searched through my plans for stories and chose a story on
another, younger singer star of Selena Gomes. I chose this because although I did
not want to repeat the stories I have already used, this story was different and
would catch the eye of Beyoncè fans which would be the reason for first looking at
the magazine. The story is suitable to the target audience of my magazine of
teenagers.
