The title sequence challenges conventions by not fully revealing the plot. It introduces the main character and a small part of the music studio setting. products.
Firstly, the main idea for title sequences is to show setting, characters
and give hints on what was to come. We found that difficult to do
without giving away the whole plot, therefore while we introduced the
character and small part of the set in the music studio, we have
generally left what the whole product would be about down to the
audience, a large hint of the genre being the music accompanying the
scenes.

3. In most products
containing music studios,
they have shots of

recorded, as well as

and editing suite. We
wanted to get across the
idea of our protagonist
working alone always.
The soundtrack we used
didn't contain words,
therefore we knew we
didn't need to have a
singer to imply he was
making that same song.

4. Another challenge to the
forms of real media
products is the lighting in
the studio. We wanted to
avoid a huge amount of
garish lighting usually
present in music studios,
and instead make it more
illusive and relaxing -
showing it as a place to
hang out. To do this we left
the main lights on, and
instead used fluorescent bar
lights with certain gels used
to change the colours, we
used red, blue and white
lights to give a almost
nightclub atmosphere to the
set.
