The document discusses the progression from the preliminary task to the final task of a film project. It describes how the preliminary task involved an interrogation scene filmed with limited shots. For the main task, most of the film was shot in black and white to make the color red stand out. More precise editing and effects were used. Audience research was also conducted to inform the final task, which featured a greater variety of shots, sounds, and actors to involve the public.

Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

2. For our preliminary task our group decided to an interrogation styled idea which
consisted of two characters. This was filmed using a go pro and a Cannon
camera.
Whilst we filmed and did the preliminary task, as a group we were still uncertain
of what the best shot types were so we stuck to using a limited amount of shots
that was made up of close up, long shots, medium shots and also match on
action was used.
Due to this only being the preliminary task/ rough cut task we decided on
decisions of how and what to film as we went along and didn’t have things such
as a storyboard to relate back to when doing this task.
3. When we did the preliminary task we thought that it would
be useful for our preliminary task and main task to have
some similarities and be related in the setting that was used
and the plot behind what happened.
When filming our main task we thought that the most
effective use of editing and filming that we could use would
be to put the majority of our main task in black and white.
The reason for doing this was we wanted to show the
contrast between the colour red and make it stand out in a
greater context. By this I mean that because the bag is the
colour red, the meat being cut is red and the titles that
appear on the screen are red it made sense to use black and
white to build up the mystery of what was going to happen
but also to for the audience to have something to follow
throughout the film and relate back to as they watched the
main task.
4. Editing was done with greater consideration and
more precision in the main task as well as you can
see that music and shots are cut on the beat at the
same time, which was used to create tension but
also help the film flow at a constant pace.
There are also more editing effects used like cross
dissolved which weren’t used in our preliminary
task.
5. In this shot the direct representation is between the
use of colour with blood (the colour red) in the prelim
and the cutting of meet being in red and the titles that
are appear also being in red as well.
We have also shown that we are using a wider shot
variety from the preliminary were we started with a
close up shot towards the floor compared to in the
main task we have a mid shot which allows is more
centred and also reveals to the audience what is
happening unlike in the preliminary task were you
don’t know who’s blood this is and where has it come
from.
6. In the final task we have used a greater range and variety of shot types, so that
we can show off our camera skills, as well as by having it in black and white it
shows that we have thought of the different methods that could be used and
what would suit our final task the best out of all of them. When deciding on
doing this idea we also sent out surveys and did audience research on our blogs
and on social media to see what people thought about our final task idea. With
this we also are trying ask and create as many questions as possible for the
audience to try and answer whilst watching the final task.
7. During the preliminary task we used a
combination of diegetic and non diegetic sound
but it is easy to see a difference in the quality of
sound due to some parts being a direct lay over of
the sound and other parts being a herd from
whilst wearing a go pro and a bag over my herd
which distorts the sound quality that is herd.
However in the final task we had used music again
but there was no dialogue said by any characters
that were in the final task apart from the radio
and the background sound that is used whilst the
final task is going on.
8. In the preliminary task the interrogator was in a
suit (school uniform) and the victim was in a
broken t shirt with blood over it and tracksuits also
being worn.
In the final task we were asked the public to be
characters so which suited the mise en scene
because we wanted to show a large demographic
and variety of people in our final task to make the
audience aware that anyone could have a role or
play a part in our final task.
