1. Evaluating my ‘City Life’
In our film we used good transitions from each scene; this made
our video clear and understandable. It gave it a more organised
effect and easy to see when the next scene comes on.
Another ‘what went well’ was the story line. We followed the
topic we were given (City Life), really well showing the life of
two ordinary girls that go to the city.
Our set design and characters were done to a good standard.
Making clear where we were and who we were. This made our
film more fun and easy to follow.
It would be even better if we made our set design more
adventurous instead of having a similar setting for every scene
for example more buildings, parks and alley ways. This would
have given the audience a better feeling and understanding of
our film.
Another way to improve our film is if we could have made it
longer not fast forward what we were saying to fit it in the 1
minute because it’s quite hard to understand what’s going on
and who is saying what.
My last improvement would be to add more effects like lighting
and pictures at the start of the film to make our video more
exciting.
