1. This is a shot of our first location we have filmed at. We used this because it’s quiet and there are no
cars or anything to suggest its modern day. It will look good when we add our effects because of
how bright it is so when we make our short film black and white the editing will still pick up on the
white in the picture. We filmed a long shot so that we could get both George and Jenny in shot
together. I think it looked good but we still need to do some reshoots at this location to get some
different angles.
This is the first day of shooting. Becky is filming the
main character Emily as she is walking down the
road. We did this filming in Monton. Becky filmed
right from the end of the road so that we could get
a long shot of Jenny walking up. She stood here so
that Jenny could walk past the camera out of shot. I
think this shot worked but we knew we could
improve.

2. This is where we filmed the second scene on the other side of the road to our first location. This is so
it’s realistic when Ben looks over the other side to see George and Jenny. We picked this long road
because we could get lots of different types of shots and not run out of road. We got close ups, walk
by’s and long shots from the front and back so we needed the space and length to do this, also this
road wasn’t too busy so we were able to shoot when we needed to and not wait for people to pass. I
think this location worked well and it was a good place for us to use.

walking down the road into shot. We
chose this location because it was
clear so there weren’t many people
around. Also because the road was
on a slant it looked better when I
walked past the camera like I was
walking up to it. This was the first
location we tried for the first scene
and we thought it could be improved
so we changed it to somewhere with
no cars so we could just focus on the
characters.
