The document discusses the various media technologies used at different stages of a media project. Blogger was used to document the coursework process and evaluate progress. YouTube helped with research by investigating music video codes/conventions and viewing past student work. iPhone messenger assisted with planning filming logistics with a partner. Premiere Pro was crucial for editing video clips and adding effects. Other technologies like Lucidpress, Photoshop, Google, Slideshare, Wordle and PowerPoint supported research, construction and presentation of work. A DSLR camera was used for higher quality filming compared to an iPhone camera.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

Generating a custom Ruby SDK for your web service or Rails API using Smithyg2nightmarescribd
Have you ever wanted a Ruby client API to communicate with your web service? Smithy is a protocol-agnostic language for defining services and SDKs. Smithy Ruby is an implementation of Smithy that generates a Ruby SDK using a Smithy model. In this talk, we will explore Smithy and Smithy Ruby to learn how to generate custom feature-rich SDKs that can communicate with any web service, such as a Rails JSON API.

Evalaution question 3
1. How did you use media technologies
in the construction and research,
planning and evaluation stages?
2. logger
Blogger is a google app that is used document and produce content online and build
social relations with their readers and other bloggers.
I have used blogger to document the whole of my A2 level media coursework to help me
keep up to date and explain about the work I am producing and how I am getting there.
This is the first form of media technology that I have used on my project and probably the
most important as I am able to show my evaluation stages.
3. YouTube
YouTube has been a very helpful tool throughout my media project, this is because it
has helped me to research different types of music video and really understand
investigate the codes and conventions of house music which has helped me to make
my own.
Another thing I have been able to access is past students A2 level music videos. This
was particularly important because I was able to understand what videos needed to
include to gain good mark and also the things that should not be included because
they do not work well.
Lastly, YouTube has helped me with is uploading my finished product online so that
other can view it and it can be submitted and put on to the blog.
4. IPhone messenger
The IPhone messenger helped me and my media partner a lot in the planning
process of making our video. We have been able to communicate with each
other about meeting up for filming, planning places to film and making sure that
we have all the stuff we need in order to shoot the video. Without having this
messenger app we would not have been able to easily know when and where we
were going to film.
5. emiere Pro
This was a crucial part of technology which helped us with the
construction of our video. On here we were able to edit all of the
clips we took and transform them into a video. We both put a lot of
time into this video and figured out how to use many special effects
to make it stand out from other videos.
6. Lucidpress
I used Lucidpress during the construction of both my Digi pack and my
poster. This app was very easy to navigate around and enabled me to move
pictures around easily, insert shapes, texts and also chose and change
colours of the things needed.
7. Prezi
Prezi is an application that allows you to creatively produce a slide share
type document. This application helped me to present and evaluate my
ideas about different types of media theories.
8. Photoshop
Photoshop helped me when creating both my Digi pack and my poster, this is
because I was able to easily edit the images taken from my video and subtly
change things such as the colours of them so that they were perfect and
linked into the colour scheme of my digipack and poster.
9. oogle
Google was most probably the most commonly used technology for me
throughout the whole of my A2 coursework. This is because it has the
most amount of information readily available so that I could research,
earn and understand many different things throughout the course such as
theories, existing products and the codes and conventions.
10. Slideshare
Similarly to Prezi, this is yet another way that I have decided to present
and evaluate information for the blog. I used this publication so that I
could be more creative with the ways that I present my work.
11. Wordle
I used this publication to help transform all of the lyrics included in the song
into a picture of the words that come up most throughout. This publication
helped me a lot and was the best to use as it was a fast and accurate and
helped me to pick out the feelings and meaning of the song so I could portray
this in my final media piece.
12. Cannon DSLR camera
This is the camera that we used to construct and film our music video. We
thought that this would be the best option because the camera quality was a lot
better than the quality of the iPhone and we was able to use this camera along
with a tripod to help keep it steady and create different camera movements.
13. owerPoint
PowerPoint has helped me a lot through this coursework because it has helped
me show information, research and evaluate my work just like I am doing now
before posting it on to Slideshare to show on my blog.
14. Overall we used a fast majority of different media technologies
that helped us with the construction, research, planning and
evaluation of our media work. Without all of these media
technologies it would not have been possible for us to create the
video that we did.
