Maths in Art
A2: Creating a set of maths
tasks related to partner
countries
The task:
• I´m planning to have a big party and to invite about
30 to 32 people.
• I´ll have some international food related to our
partner countries.
• I found several recipes, but they are only for a small
amount of people (servings).
• Transfer the amount of ingredients for every recipe
for 30-32 servings
• and write the shopping list.
Lituania:
Zeppelinas
Ingredients (4 servings):
1 kilo of potatoes
4-5 cooked potatoes
for the filling:
2 eggs
6 spoons of bread crumbs
600g mixed chopped
3 onions
300 g bacon
3 cups of sour cream
salt and pepper

Cyprus: Pikes of
Halloumi with herbs
KALIOREXI!
Ingredients (2 servings):
250g Halloumi-cheese
1 paprika
1 red onion
4 mushrooms
marinade
5 ml olive oil
1 garlic toe
1 teaspoon thyme , oregano,
rosemary,
mint und parsley
limejuice and pepper
Greece:
Dolmades

Ingredients (10 servings):
300 g rice
ca. 3 dl water
2 garlic toes
2-3 spring onions (100 g)
1 glass pickled wine leaves
1 lemon
olive oil
salt and pepper
1ts fennel seeds
4 tablespoons parsley, 1
tablespoon mint , 1
tablespoon dill
Greece:
Greek salad

3 big tomatoes
2 salad cucumbers
1 little red onion

black pepper
4 tablespoons of olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
3/4 (200 g)-pack fetacheese
1 hand full of black greek olives
without stones
Turkey:

500g ground meat (lamb and beef)
3 onions
1 egg
cumin
2 slices white bread
chilliflocks
salt, black pepper
bunch parsley
1 garlic toe
Turkey:

Ingredients: (5 servings)
1 bunch parsley
3 onions
1 green paprika
1 kg ground meat (beef)
salt, pepper,
red paprika spice (spicy)
for he dough:
1-2 dices of sugar
1 dice dry yeast
approx 125 ml milk
some water
1 kg flour
to spread:
1 piece of butter
sunflower oil
Poland: Salatka ze

Salad with herring

3 Salt herring fillet
1/2 cucumber
1/2 onions
2 apples
1 tablespoon dill
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
4 tablespoons sour cream

Ingredients (6 servings):
400 g flour
salt
pepper
1 glass of warm water
600 g mixed ground meat
1 egg
2 onions
3 slices of bacon
fresh parsley

Taralli (salt pastry)

500 g flour
10 g sea salt
100 ml white wine
100 ml water
125 ml olive oil
add to refine: pepper, anise, caraway
seed, sesame, fennel, olives

Ingredients (8 servings):
500 g flour
300 ml water
2 teaspoons salt
5 g yeast
for he sauce:
1 tin pizzatomatoes
salt, pepper, sugar, oregano and
basil
Add depending on your taste:
tomatoes, mushrooms, salami,
ham, artichokes, eggplants,
arugula, cheese, seafood, crabs,
anchovies, onions, olives, tuna,
peppers, spinach, gorgonzola,
mozarella cheese
Germany:

1,5 l (meat)broth

40 g cocoa powder
1 pack baking powder, 200g sugar
3 pack vanilla sugar, 65 g butter
30g cornflour
a pinch of cinnamon
1000 g cream
40g icing sugar
120 ml „Kirschwasser“
500 g morello cherries
120 ml morello cherries
60 g grated chocolate
grease for the baking tin

European recipes

  • 1. Erasmus+ Maths in Art A2: Creating a set of maths tasks related to partner countries
  • 2. The task: • I´m planning to have a big party and to invite about 30 to 32 people. • I´ll have some international food related to our partner countries. • I found several recipes, but they are only for a small amount of people (servings). • Transfer the amount of ingredients for every recipe for 30-32 servings • and write the shopping list.
  • 3. Lituania: Zeppelinas Ingredients (4 servings): 1 kilo of potatoes 4-5 cooked potatoes for the filling: 2 eggs 6 spoons of bread crumbs 600g mixed chopped 3 onions 300 g bacon 3 cups of sour cream salt and pepper Geras Apetitas!
  • 4. Cyprus: Pikes of Halloumi with herbs KALIOREXI! Ingredients (2 servings): 250g Halloumi-cheese 1 paprika 1 red onion 4 mushrooms marinade 5 ml olive oil 1 garlic toe 1 teaspoon thyme , oregano, rosemary, mint und parsley limejuice and pepper

Ingredients: (5 servings) 1 bunch parsley 3 onions 1 green paprika 1 kg ground meat (beef) salt, pepper, red paprika spice (spicy) for he dough: 1-2 dices of sugar 1 dice dry yeast approx 125 ml milk some water 1 kg flour to spread: 1 piece of butter sunflower oil

  • 11. Italy: Taralli (salt pastry) Buon appetito! Ingredients (8 servings): 500 g flour 10 g sea salt 100 ml white wine 100 ml water 125 ml olive oil add to refine: pepper, anise, caraway seed, sesame, fennel, olives
  • 12. Italy: Pizza Buon appetito! Ingredients (8 servings): 500 g flour 300 ml water 2 teaspoons salt 5 g yeast for he sauce: 1 tin pizzatomatoes salt, pepper, sugar, oregano and basil Add depending on your taste: tomatoes, mushrooms, salami, ham, artichokes, eggplants, arugula, cheese, seafood, crabs, anchovies, onions, olives, tuna, peppers, spinach, gorgonzola, mozarella cheese

Ingredients (12 servings): 225 g flour 6 eggs 40 g cocoa powder 1 pack baking powder, 200g sugar 3 pack vanilla sugar, 65 g butter 30g cornflour a pinch of cinnamon 1000 g cream 40g icing sugar 120 ml „Kirschwasser“ 500 g morello cherries 120 ml morello cherries 60 g grated chocolate grease for the baking tin
