San Diego Film Festival The 16th annual film festival was by far the most
consistent, well organized festival I have ever attended. It was interesting to see a
community of filmmakers come together and share their experiences here in San
Diego. With it being my first film festival to ever attend, I was able to grasp and get
a taste as to what the reality of filmmaking is through these independent filmmakers
eyes. Targeting mainly the Asian/ Asian American community, filmmakers where
able to screen their creativity into the big screen and reach a more broad audience.

To begin with, the audience was predominantly Asian/Asian American whom did
not have to use the subtitles at all while I on the other hand, had to continuously
follow along with the film while also trying to keep up with the subtitles. It was
very captivating to observe the comedic scenes in the movie because people who

I have been taken care of 4 patients towards the end of my time on 2B. I think I
handled it well. It can be challenging sometimes. For example, I had to discharge
one patient by 10am. And the staff meeting for my newly admitted patient was
around the same time. Besides, one of my patients approached me to have PRNs,
the forth patient also requested a shave. On 2B, shaving has to be supervised by
staff. All my patients needed me at once. I learned to ask help from other RNs and
delegate appropriate tasks to NA in order to get things done on time. Sometimes,
we don t have enough help. I had to prioritize my tasks and patients needs. Of
course, I offer my help to my fellow RNs when they re busy. I had completed blood

about the power of giving. The most important detail in this book is the powerful
and important message that shines through in the story. After reading the book, we
realize that the effect of giving is sometimes even more of a gift to the one who is
doing the giving. After all it is better to give than to receive. The general themes that
one might interpret in Pfister s story are sharing, giving, and selflessness, or one
might see themes of vanity, value, self worth, and pride.
The text is very rich with description. The author makes it easy to imagine the beauty
of the Rainbow fish even without the illustrations. He uses adjectives like dazzling,
shimmering, and sparkling as he describes what all the other fish see as they
admire the beautiful fish swimming past them. He describes the fish as silent and
proud. Most people can relate to a situation in their own lives where they might
have encountered a person like the Rainbow Fish. As the reader reads the text of the
story, they will most likely find it easy to relate to the feelings of the little blue fish.
They might also find themselves rooting for the Rainbow Fish and wanting him to
figure out how to solve his dilemma so that he can make some friends and finally

After learning about Women s History, my eyes were not only opened up to the
difficult challenges faced in the past, but opened up to see the beauty of today. This
Women s History class altered my perspectives, introduced me to significant changes,
and gave me the knowledge to know what my obligations are as a womantoday.

There are a lot of influential actors who have made an impact on the art of acting,
such as Stella Adler, and Lee Strasberg. However, no one was able to reproduce the
realism in a make believe scenario like Sanford Meisner. While there are a number of
different approaches for one to try and produce an authentic emotion, Meisner s
method was less intellectual, and has more to do with speaking from the heart. He
thought that the chemistry and connection between the actors should be the priority,
basing every line off of what is being said or done. He felt that by doing this, the
actors involved were able to genuine portrayal of human dialogue. Some of Meisner
s key ideas was the importance of preparation before a scene, particularizing lines...
The first key idea that Meisner proposes is preparation. Meisner defines
preparation in his book as, the device which permits you to start your scene with
emotional aliveness (78). He points out the importance of preparation because it
adds to the reality of the scene. Having preparation allows the actor to come into to
the scene with energy and purpose. He compares preparation to daydreaming
when he says, It s daydreaming which causes transformation in your inner life, so
that you were not what you actually were five minutes ago, because your fantasy is
working on you (84). Preparation helps build a sense of reality for the character,

key idea Meisner focused on was particularization. Barton describes
particularization as A series of very specific inquiries to move forward the results

antagonists, protamine use, myocardial dysfunction, diabetes mellitus, presence of
pre cardiopulmonary bypass hemodynamic instability, increased duration of

successful management of vasoplegic syndrome the developed perioperatively
following Whipple s procedure. Report A 76yr old 52kg male, was schedule for
Whipple s procedure for carcinoma head of pancreas. He was a known hypertensive
of enalapril and poorly controlled diabetic on insulin. His preoperative investigations
were unremarkable except of elevated HbA1C. The proposed procedure was planned
