reagents and the identity of the products by using three acid/base neutralization
reactions of a triprotic acid, phosphoric acid, and varying molar equivalents of
sodium hydroxide. The data will be used to determine the formula weight of the
products and identify the remaining salt for all three reactions.

In this experiment, we learned about stoichiometry, empirical formula, molecular
formula, polyprotic acids and bases, metathesis reactions, and moles.
Stoichiometry is a very important part of chemistry. Stoichiometry refers to
calculating the masses of molecules and their products . The reactants are usually

something at work in my soul, which I do not understand. This quote from Mary
Shelley s classic gothic novel Frankenstein is very representative of the functional
importance of gothic literature to humanity. Gothic literature can be viewed as the
dark side of the human soul, as good usually triumphs over evil in storytelling;
gothic literature is the release of all the darkness of the human experience usually
embodied in a character. When used to describe literature, the word gothic is defined
as of or relating to a style of fiction characterized by the use of desolate or remote
settings and macabre, mysterious, or violent incidents (Webster). In addition to these
stylings, there are several elements such as the supernatural, heroes, villains, and
emotions that are very common of the gothic genre (Marinaro). Frankenstein is often

The book of Gilgamesh and Noah And The Flood are both epic stories with a
different outlook on the flood. The two stories are clashing tales with flood and
deals and death. They both have different religions and story lines which leads to the
great Floods. Utnapishtim haves many Gods, and Noah haves one God. Utnapishtim
gained everlasting life because of the flood. Noah got reward with grace and peace
for flood.
The cause of the floods were quite similar but didn t really connect. In the book of
Gilgamesh the gods were upset because the humans were too noisy and couldn t
sleep. The Gods didn t care if they were wicked or not they just wanted peace. Enlil
the head god took it into his own hands and sent a dream out. He sent it to
Utnapishtim cause he was the only one not acting crazy. Well in the book of Noah
his God was upset with all the wickedness that were going on in the land. When he
made them he wanted them to be pure but they were killing each other and getting
drunk etc. Both stories happen because their God or Gods were upset at them. They
were different reasons Gilgamesh Gods were mad because they didn t get sleep and
Noah s God was mad cause their was so much destruction in the land.

the Fed it is made up of the Board of Governors. This board is made up of seven
members, all selected by the President himself. However, they also need to be

Harrison Bergeron and Old Glory are both in the science fiction genre and take
place in a future where the government is in full control of everything and everyone.
In Harrison Bergeron , everyone is equal and the Handicap General is the person that
makes that happen, weather by means of handicaps or being forcing people to wear
masks. Harrison Bergerondoesn t like this and tries to put a stop to this but ends up
being killed by the Handicap General. Old Glory is about a young boy s
grandfather being upset about a new law being passed and tries to protest about it,
but similar to Harrison Bergeron, he also ends up getting killed by the government.
Both authors use many science fiction elements to help develop the theme of an
