The short videos by Joe Stowell have gotten better each week. I look forward to them as they
make me think in a different direction than I normally would. This week s video, From the Inside
Out was probably the most thought provoking of the five videos. Mr. Stowell is a person that I

session. Goals such as:
(1.) If the detachment as a whole does at least 15% higher from the PFD taken in fall to the PFD
taken in spring, then the cadets will get to choose what exercises will be done for one PT session.
(2.) Cadets run time for 1.5 mile run will decrease by 30 seconds from the beginning of the
semester to the end of the semester.
(3.) Cadets will be able to increase their personal push up amount done in one minuet by at least
five push ups by the end of the semester, unless they have maxed the number of pushups required

The United States is often seen by many as a country of equal opportunity. A place where social
classes do not exist. Unfortunately, thoughts such as these are wrong because the US is far
from being the only country to escape this exception. When observed closely there are signs that
each person manifests that distinctively show what social class they belong to. Although
money is the most common marker of class, education along with health related topics such as
heart disease and eating habits are strong inicators of class. Throughout time one of the most
obvious class markers has been education and it still remains so. People who belong to the
higher classes view education as a higher priority and have more access to the best school in the
country. When stuck in lower classes people must attend schools where books, computers, and

who belong to lower social classes fell behind children in the upper classes by about a year or so.
Today, that gap is close to four years. For those in the upper class their kids are placed in an

different part of school. I have been going to Hickman School for six years now, and came in
second grade. Time seemed to fly by as it was already time for middle school. Elementary is one

For one thing, I really didn t know what middle school would be like, I had no idea what to expect.

I recall waking up that morning with my alarm clock making an annoying chime sound. I
