In the 20th century, one particular vision for the future that wowed audiences for
generations was the concept of a state of mass surveillance. This would be a society
in which members of the public could be watched at any given point in time. In
1960, an artist by the name of Arthur Radebaugh drew a comic that was reflective of

The classroom library scored __6___ points. I would make this classroom library
more diverse by adding more books about children with disabilities and books in
the native language of ELL learners attending the school. During my observation of
the library the only book I found that represented children with disabilities was a
short book called My Friend is Blind . I could not find any books that children with
other disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy could read and relate to. Nor was there
any books that other students could read to gain a better understanding of their
classmates who may have a disability. I also noticed that although there were books
about different cultures, every book was in English, there weren t any books in
the Native language of ELL learners. I believe that having books in the library in
the native language of ELL learners will not only further their learning. Learning a
new language can be very difficult, and not having any books in the students Native
Language may make them feel as if it isn t okay for them to speak that language or
that it isn t welcomed in the school, therefore having other books in the students
Native Language will help them to feel a sense of belonging that they might not

changes taking place in the second half of the twentieth century. In his book,
Amusing Ourselves to Death, Neil Postman talks about the change from the age of
typography to the age of visual media and how it has greatly impacted the American

Cars have revolutionised the mode of transport for humans and since their first
invention in 1885, they have had an incredible revamp to them. Some of these
factors include speed, design, and durability, but even so these ever changing
evolutionary changes came with a price, safety. With the modern era of car
development the necessity of car safety has been one of the most demanding
dynamics in car design as of the 20th century. To understand and improve the safety
of cars, a vast knowledge of multiple physics concepts are required.
Newton s 3 laws of motion give a great testament to forces acted upon a given object.
His three laws are:
1.First law of motion, The law of inertia : Every object in a state of uniform motion
tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it (Newton
s three laws of motion, 2001). This law states that if an object is moving at a
uniform speed, it will not stop unless an external force is applied to it.
2.Second law of motion (F = ma): The relationship between an object s mass m, its
acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. Acceleration and force are
vectors in this law and the direction of the force of the vector is the same as the
