Reflection Paper On Aging
As a 25–year–old adult, consider myself on the younger spectrum as far as biological age.
However, I am being reminded daily that I am getting older. I no longer can recover from a workout
as rapidly as I used to, I require more sleep after a night of staying up late, there are no more "all

I had no experience as a runner nor did I have the form. This did not phase me however. That year

becoming a faster runner was complete. If I had simply just given up that first day of practice, I
wouldn't have ran along side of the fastest runners in Oregon or have met the multitude of people

physically or mentally, goals keep us active and thinking in more ways than one. Still, if someone
has self–control, confidence, and a goal, they are still not complete. Growth mindset is the cone to

Meeting My Best Friend Essay
There is nothing in life that can compare to meeting your other half. Meeting my best friend was
definitely a life changing event in the best way. She is the most loyal and absolutely the most
trustworthy long–term friendships that I have ever experienced. I have been given the opportunity
in life to come face to face with my best friend, she has changed my life in various ways. No one
that I have met can compete with how well her and I mix. Like peanut butter and jelly, we are

To this day Maria is my ride or die, we kept growing up and when my father got me a car for my
birthday it became even better. We both see each other almost every week and hang out to eat,
shop, or simply go over each others house. We both have so many similarities in our lives and
personalities, we definitely never take that for granted. She has persistently gotten me through all
of my rough patches, with that being said, every time we talk she knew what I need to hear to get
me through or get ahead of it in life. Nonetheless, we are very alike, but we still obviously have
our differences, yet I admire how we will always cooperate and try to imagine and picture
ourselves in the other person's position. She always gives me her best friend and at the same time
her motherly advice. She is kind hearted, but is not afraid to rip the bandage when needed. We both

an essay and how to improve on essays that I have already written, how to locate and composite
better research through the use of numerous resources found at the campus library, the internet, and
the "Common Sense" textbook, how to cite research, examples, and quotations properly within the

This allowed me to write more extensively on the topic I had chosen which in turn helped expand
the size of my research paper. I received a B on my final draft; the first passing grade I have ever
received on a research paper. I am very satisfied with my grade. When it came to the essays
writing became a little trickier because I had to understand what it was I needed to write about
and the style in which I need to write it in. There are nine essay writing methods which I learned
while attending this course: exemplification, compare/contrast, cause and effect, proposal,
narration, process, division/classification, definition, and argument. The only problems I
encountered when trying to write the essays that were assigned to me by the instructor was
finding suitable subject matter to write about. Once I found my topics for my essay, everything
else became easier. I would first produce a rough draft and then the students, the instructor, and
myself would go over them in class and decided if what I was writing was in its best form. Most
of my rough drafts needed improvement, but if it didn't it wouldn't be a rough draft, so it was
understood. My final drafts were very satisfying for me as well as the grades I received on them.

of ages that our target audience covers. The background of the leaflet is a green, which, is a vibrant
colour designed to attract the readers attention to the leaflet when it is on the stands, it is also
reasonably neutral and does not appeal to one sex more than the other. The subheadings and
headings have a blue font in order to contrast with the green font and add to the striking effect.
o The white outline, on which, the text is placed on makes the black of the main body of the text
stand out.
o Quotes from magistrates have also been used in the middle and back sections of the leaflet. This
is effective as it adds a personal touch, thus, is more appealing to the reader. The target audience is

APA Formatting
My biggest skill problem is APA formatting. I have always used MLA formatting, so when I
started classes here at Ashford I am having to learn how to use APA formatting. Using the APA
formatting checklist has helped me learn how to use it but I'm still not good at using it, it is getting
easier as I have to use it. And when I use Grammarly helps with all the other problems that I was
having when writing a paper.
