403 Contribute To Resources
Unit 403 Understand how to contribute to the control of resources
This is a very well written piece of work, but it could cover more of the knowledge statements in
outcomes 2 3.
It would help if you referenced a piece of work as you went along with the numbers given in the
knowledge statements, then it would be clear as to what you had covered.
I have put the assignment into a table giving a column on the left for referencing just to give you
the idea by including some of the reference numbers.

A way we try to minimise this impact is by buying whole cases so the suppliers can use the
original packaging and not having to repackage split cases. A major environmental impact that is
occurs when bringing in resources is through the transportation of them. In order to minimise the
impact this has on the environment we try to source our suppliers locally and minimise the amount
of deliveries we have a week.
In order to obtain resources we must ensure that we go to an appropriate supplier which has been
approved by the company. The approved suppliers have all been check and their support staff
have to go though an induction type process so they understand our fire regulations and
procedures. If a resource is required from a company that is not on our registered supplier list then
they must be added the appropriate paper work filled out.
The control of waste is essential in any business and vital in hospitality. We monitor all waste
produced from our three main kitchens (Appendix 3) and with the use of past sales figures
(Appendix 4) we are able to predict the popularity of each dish and cater accordingly.
Recycling is becoming more vital to reduce the environmental impact that the business has on
society. In order to increase the amount of recycling the company I work for now have separate
bins for glass, paper and card, electronic, clinical and general waste. This ensures that

Wolsey s Fall
Assess the reasons behind Wolsey s fall
From the beginning of Henry VIII reign to 1529, Cardinal Wolsey was a influential figure and
Henry s key advisor. However by 1529 Wolsey had been charged with praemunire and was due to
be executed in November 1530. The most important reason for this was because of Wolsey s
failure to obtain a divorce between Catherine of Aragon and Henry VIII.
The main reason behind Wolsey s fall was his failure to obtain a divorce between Catherine of
Argon and Henry VIII. Henry s desire to end his marriage began in 1527 in which Wolsey promised
would be a quick and easy problem to resolve due to his influence with the pope. However after two
years of waiting Henry became desperate for a divorce. Wolsey made ... Show more content on

Summary Of Oppression By Paul Laurence Dunbar
Oppression is at the root of many of the most serious, enduring conflicts in the world. Times were
tough in America during the turn of the century. Lots of changes were occurring, and many folks
had a difficult time coming to terms with them. Black Americans in particular found themselves
caught in a culture that appeared somewhat better than it had been before and during the Civil
War. But the fact of the matter was: things just weren t so peachy. This poem is a reaction to the
racial climate of the late nineteenth century. The son of former slaves, Paul Laurence Dunbar, was
born on June 27, 1872 in Dayton, Ohio to parents who had been enslaved in Kentucky before the
American Civil War. At age 33, he died of tuberculosis on February 9, 1906. He was the first
African American poet to reach a wide audience, publishing verse poems and short stories before
his early death. His use of both negro dialect and standard English helped to portray his cultural
lifestyle, joys, and tribulations distinguishing him from other writers of the late 1800s, early 1900s.
In his poem, the speaker opens the poem with the declaration that we wear masks that hide our true
feelings. He goes on to emphasize the severity of the pain and suffering that these masks try to
cover up. By the end we understand that all of the politeness and subdued emotions are just phony
disguises of the painful truths that hide behind them. With that knowledge, he try s to get his
audience to understand his purpose in

Criminal Investigation Research Paper
Several investigation agencies adopt different investigation techniques for every crime committed.
However, these investigative techniques follow four major stages in criminal investigation which
include;
1.Preliminary Investigation
Preliminary investigation involves the collection of information from the victims or witnesses of
the crime. This is always the first step to a crime response and is usually done by the patrol officer.
These preliminary investigations are aimed at collecting information sufficient to apprehend the
suspects as well as preserve the crime scene for more investigation. (Weinreb, 1977).
Preliminary investigation involves the following activities
i.Observing the conditions and events that lead to the crime. ii. Securing ... Show more content on

Follow up interviews and interrogations iii. Review of police department records iv. Preparations
for court presentation and
v.Conducting searches alongside assistance in prosecution
3.Reconstruction of the crime
The main goal of reconstruction of crime scene is to apply deductive and inductive reasoning,
scientific methods and their inter relations to obtain more information about the crime committed.
These stages also give allow time for the public to share their views on the case. (Lyman, 2001).
4.Focus of the investigation
This is the fourth and last stage of the criminal investigation. This stage directs focus on one
suspect. Here, the burden of proof is directed towards proving that the suspect is guilt of the
offence or the crime. A very key part of this step is compilation of final information regarding the
suspect charged of the crime. (Greenwood Petersilia, 1975).
Challenges in each of the four steps
Preliminary investigation
Some of the challenges faced in this stage include
i.Inability to assess the reliability of witness or victims statements. ii. Some statements from the
victims may offer conflicting information.
Continuing investigation
This is the second stage that may suffer the following

Auto Body Repair Research Paper
Auto Body Repair
Through the years automobile construction has changed greatly and so have the ways in which
cars are repaired. Although auto body repair at one time was centered on hammering out dents
in sheet metal panels, it has now become largely a paint and replace industry as many of the
components are made of composites that are cheaper to swap then repair. The point of this paper is
to inform the reader about how to make the necessary repairs to your body work. Many of the tools
used for mechanical auto repairs are also used for body work. There are some special tools
designed for body work. A body hammeris one of the special tools. Body hammers are needed to

There are several kinds of paints you can use on a vehicle. The different kinds of paint are single
stage, basecoat/clear coat, and tri stage. Urethane enamel paint, also known as single stage paint
consists of a color pigment and hardener. I conducted an interview and the person I interviewed
said that single stage paint is the best to use. There is also a basecoat/clear coat system that can
be used. This system makes the job easier when you are doing a single color paint job. Tri stage
paint originally was reserved for custom paint jobs or high end vehicles. Tri stage paint systems
are becoming common on OEM paint finishes. Once the color of everything to paint is decided
and the masking is done it is time to start painting. If unexperienced one should practice on old
body panels or parts before jumping in on newly repaired surface. Before spraying the project, wipe
it off with a tack cloth as a final cleaning. The specially made cloths are designed to pick up and

Essay on Changing Photojournalism Education in American...
Changing Photojournalism Education in American Universities
Kenneth Kenney stated the obvious in 1987 The lack of trained teachers and educators and
standard teaching materials is the most pressing problem in photojournalism education (Kenney
1987). The same rings true today professors in the fields of journalism and photojournalism are
practicing the same things they were taught in college many have been out of the workforce for
years, if they were working journalists or photojournalists at all. Today s professors were trained in
the beginning of the digital age or earlier, and practices and requirements for the future
photojournalists have changed, and are continuing to change daily. Without the proper re education

To ensure the proper training with equipment, the student must have access to the constantly
changing and updating materials that photojournalists, photographers, and journalists regularly
have to evolve with.
Oblinger and Oblinger again address this today s college students, the Net Gen , have grown up
with technology they have the latest computer, software, programs, websites, phones, etc. Children
and youth today average more time spent on digital media than watching TV. Today s Net Gen
also expects up to date technology in their learning process, and expect their professors to have
knowledge of the technology similar to theirs (Oblinger and Oblinger, 2005).
Photojournalism today epitomizes the multimedia function photojournalists are required to perform
multiple duties rather than just take pictures. Instead, they are both taking the pictures while also
writing the story, taking video, and uploading to social media. Despite the constant addition of
duties, staffers are expected to perform them all in less time than they were previously expected to
perform one duty. Education in video, audio, photography, writing, and social media is imperative
for the future photojournalist, and with skills in all of these sets, a photojournalist will be more of
an asset to the employer than one who has only one or two of these skill sets. Specialized focuses
in photojournalism education should also be

Examples Of Multilingualism In Half Of A Yellow Sun
Half of a Yellow Sun, is a novel written by the Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The
time frame is the 1960s during the country s Nigerian Biafran War to establish an independent
republic and the chilling violence that followed. Indeed, published in 2006, the novel tells the
story of the Nigerian civil war also known as the Biafran war through the perspective of the
characters Olanna, Ugwu, and Richard... Biafra was a secessionist state in south eastern Nigeriathat

combine elements of both the indigenous languages and the English language to reach a broader
local audience without sacrificing her international readers. Since English language versus
vernacular languages in African literature has a large extent and been moderated, it is neither a
question of extreme radicalism nor accommodationism (borrowing culture). The importance of
multilingualism for Nigerian writers in both the English Language and their own native language is

this case also multilingualism constitutes a source of

Torture In Medieval Prisons
The Veg Pledge Everything is pitch black. I am pressed up hard against my peers in this moving
enclosure and have been for what feels like a lifetime. I can hardly breathe and the heat is almost
unbearable. The stench of death is penetrating, filling me entirely. Suddenly, light pours from
outside blinding me, I am shoved and kicked by men, who maneuver me out of my previous
prison. I realise that I am free, and begin to run forward, only to collapse as my legs and lungs
cannot cope after standing for so long. I am herded into yet another dark and crowded enclosure
with my peers, my heart begins to race with panic, and I try to resist, squealing and thrashing
around. The cruel men from earlier reappear and poke me with what I assume is a stick, but it
sends shockwaves through me, rendering me unable to move. Little did I know that that would be
the last time I would move. Little did I know that my death could contribute to the destruction of a
planet. You are probably thinking, What is this? Some cruel form of torture in a medieval prison? I

Studies show that humans and animals are both highly intelligent, but in very different ways,
we see ourselves as superior as they cannot speak English as we do, this is comparable to native
English speakers seeing foreigners as less intelligent due to them speaking very slow, broken
English, however we know that this does not measure intelligence as they are fluent in a language
unknown to us. Animals are as capable of complex intelligence as humans are; crows are known
to create hooks out of wires, squirrels fake hiding nuts when they know they are being watched,
and chimpanzees have proven to have better short term memory than humans do. Animals are
capable of feeling the exact same amount of pain as humans are, so why is it socially and legally

The Artistic Elements Of LaocoпїЅn And His Sons
Laocoön and His Sons Muscles contorting in anguish, fangs brutally piercing the flesh, faces
drowning in suffering. This intense visual is shockingly manifested through marble in the sculpture
Laocoön and His Sons by Hagesandros, Polydoros, and Athenodoros of Rhodes. This alluring
orchestra of artistic elements is the perfect compilation of technical perfection and emotional
expression. The exaggerated drama of the piece is the style of the Greek s Hellenistic period. All
things considered, Laocoön and His Sons possess both exquisite formal components and content
and has the capability to provide insight into both the culture of the Greeks, as well as the attitudes
of humanity towards its enemies. To commence, the formal composition of Laocoön and His
Sons is enticing. The piece is carved in marblewith a height of eight feet. The marble white hue of
the statue seems to accentuate the intricate anatomy of the figures. The three males are arranged
upon a base. On one of the far sides of the platform, there resides a pillar style seating with
drapery which dangles off in a waterfall like manner. The central figure, and by far the most
substantial in size, Laocoön, sits at an angular position. This angular posture generates a dynamic
composition. His two sons, Antiphantes and Thymbraeus, struggle at his side as sea serpents
attack all three of the figures. There appear to be two sea serpents, one that is prominently digging
its fangs into Laocoön s pelvis. Moreover, a

The Physics of Golf Essay
The Physics of Golf
As anyone who has played a round of golf will attest to, the sport is based around many
fundamental principals of physics. These basic laws are involved with every aspect of the game
from how a player swings the club to how the ball moves through the air on its way toward the
pin. It is the challenge that physics presents to the golfer that has allowed the game, and equipment
used, to develop so drastically over the past one hundred years. The first golf balls used were called
featheries. They were made with a horsehide cover packed with wet goose feathers. When the balls
dried they became extremely hard. The major flaw with the featheries was that they could not be
used when the conditions were wet because they ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Obviously a lot of time, effort, research, and money were put forth into the development of the golf
ball, as it is manufactured today. The reason for this ongoing process is to help a golfer use some
laws of physics to his advantage (i.e. placing spin on the ball to create lift) while finding a work
around for other physical properties that can be detrimental to a players golf game (i.e. drag
which causes the ball to slow down and fly closer to the ground). When examining the physics,
which surrounds the game of golf, one must carefully consider all aspects of the game, not just the
golf ball or even just the equipment being used. The stroke is by far the most important aspect to
any participants round of golf. Among the scientific community, an event, such as the golf stroke, is
thought of as a dynamic process using the physical principals of mechanics based on Newton s
Laws of motion. The stroke is actually three separate events; the swing of the club, the impact of
the club head with the ball, and the flight of the ball toward the target. It is the sum of these three
parts that makes a successful stroke. Before delving into the details of the golf stroke, it is
important for one to consider the general concepts of motion that control the swing of the golf
club. Two men are most influential in this area of study, Galileo Galilee and Isaac Newton. It is the
principles of these two men that

Princess Diana As A Hero
Princess Diana is considered to be the most favored member of the Royal Family in the history
of the British Monarchy (biography.com editors 1). She is the former wife of Prince Charles, and
the mother of Princes William and Harry. Her charitable work with impoverished children has
formed her reputation as a role model for the people of Britain and much of the world. Much of
Dianas life has been devoted to traveling the world to help others. Her work in Africa with the
children injured by landmines brought her into the global spotlight (Wexford 3). Princess Diana
was more than just a public figure and royal, she was a loving person who brought light to social
issues and cared for those who are destitute. A hero, as defined in Webster s Online Dictionary, is
a person who a person admired for achievements or noble qualities or one who shows great
courage. However, a hero is not just a person with outstanding achievements. A hero is a person
who is philanthropic, generous, and kind. Heros fight for those who cannot fight for themselves,
and do not judge those who they are fighting for. They are charitable in ways other than donating
money, they give their time and effort in order to make the lives of others more pleasant. Heros
display bravery, as they are willing to go into a dangerous situation to help others that have been
aggrieved. Social pressures and judgements do not affect a hero s willingness to help others, and

Afro-American Wildness Of Nature
By separating slaves from the land, white culture protected its rights to ownership and citizenship.
However, the connection was fragmented, not damaged. Even if Sweet Home detained natural
beauty, the slaves living there were quite familiar with the wildness of nature. As a child, Sethe
remembers her mother how she d had the bit so many times she smiled (Beloved 203). Similarly is
a human attributed and the opposite of it signifies inhumanity of whites and non humanness of
blacks. Her mouth becomes everlastingly imperfect from the bit , marking an animal intended for

John Brown was very similar to Nat Turner they both believed that they were chosen by god to
lead slaves into freedom and if that required a fight then that was what they had to do. John
Brown had a goal and that was to abolish slavery throughout the united states. The trouble in
Kansas began when the Nebraska Act was signed by President Pierce, this act engaged that
people make a determination on whether Kansas territory should be free or slave. In hopes that
Kansas would become free of slaves, the opposing side which was named Border Ruffians invaded

With many diseases around the world it is amazing how us as humans survive day to day.
Bacteria is everywhere you look and you have millions of them living inside you, not all of which
are harmful. Its the ones that do harm you that we should be considered with that can lead to death
or diseases. A specific fatal bacterial disease that has caused many people harm is Tetanus. Tetanus
consist of a bacteriacalled clostridium tetaniwhich invades the nervous system causing muscle
spasms and severe pain sometimes leading to death. Many times the bacteria causes muscle spasms
most often in the jaw causing the muscles to commonly known as Lockjaw . The bacteria gets
inside the host cell and produces harmful toxins. According to the centers for disease control 10 to
20% of people affected by tetanus result in death (Atkinson,2009). This paper will go more in depth
into tetanus and the diseases history, symptoms, epidemiology, treatment and possible vaccinations.
The severity of tetanus has been around for many years and has since been developed and studied
differently. The symptoms and descriptions of tetanus have been traced back to the 5th century
BCE which hasn t been completely proven that it was discovered then. Tetanus was produced by
two researchers named Carle and Rattone in 1884, by experimenting with animals and injecting
them with puss from a person infected with severe tetanus( Tetanus n.d). The injection of animals

While The Three Soldiers represent the survivors, the wall is to remember the ones that lost
their lives during the Vietnam war. The artist that designed the wall was Maya Lin who was a
student from Yale University, who participated in a competition for creating a memorial to
honor the serviceman. Though her getting a B in her class for the design, she had won the
competition which led to what we have today in the memorial wall. Many people were really
against the wall since it felt like lacked the patriotic symbol to remember the lost lives of

very small on one side, gradually increasing in size to represent the scare left behind by
remembering the fallen but not forgotten soldiers. The names of the estimated 58,000 soldiers
also disappear when rain is present and reappear when dried up. It would be considered an

Taxation Of National Tax Sovereignty For Income Tax
In this essay, the issues for taxation of national tax sovereignty for income tax, corporation tax,
value added tax and excise duties are discussed as well as an opinion as to whether sovereign
nations should compete or co operate on matters of tax policy. Sovereign nations have different tax
rates and they tend to change with each taxyear. The issues of direct and indirect taxes are
numerous and this essay will discuss two major aspects of each using the recent issue of Scotland s
independence for major explanations. These are direct taxes such as Income taxand Corporation tax;
indirect taxes such as Value Added Tax
(VAT) and Excise tax.
Income tax as defined by Melville, 2014 (page 15) is: tax assessed for a tax year (or year of
assessment ) and is based on the taxpayer s total income for the year from all sources, ignoring
any income which is exempt from income tax . Sovereign nations set their own taxes individually
and as such taxpayers respond differently depending on the changes in tax rate in the respective
tax system. The changes in income tax rate from one tax year to another affects both high and low
income earners. However, in an analysis for four decades of the US tax system, it was concluded
that high income earners tend to respond to a greater extent to tax changes than low income tax
payers . Likewise, Micro economists suggest that this is majorly due to the fact that educational
achievements are a major contributor to the differences in income between

Marx s Dream And The American Dream
Marx s Dream It all started with a dream, the American Dream . When first thought of, the
American Dream was the idea of freedom and equality that America offered, as well as the
concept that working hard can lead to success by anyone. The American Dream has since shifted
to the idea that you can have it all, from a house to a well paying job that can support your
family. However, the Dream is centered around private property and capital, and through Marx s
eyes, that is where it is flawed. The American Dream is achieved in a Capitalist society, but
according to Marx, with Capitalismcomes alienation. Looking at the American Dream from Marx s
standpoint, is it truly attainable by everyone? The American Dream began with... Show more

Not only are workers oppressed, but because of false consciousness they think that the more they
work, the more they achieve; when in reality, working towards prosperity leads to less time to enjoy
what they worked for. This false consciousness prevents people from seeing that they cannot truly
achieve the American Dream because of the nature of their social and economical situation.
Using Marx s theories of alienation and false consciousness the American Dream can easily be
dubbed unrealistic. In a Capitalist society, it is hard for people to break boundaries to swiftly
move up the hierarchy because of class wars and power struggles. In Marx s sense, strives towards
the American Dream can only be reached through the perfect utopia of Communism. In accordance
with Marx, Communism is the one thing that can make this Dream possible. In a Capitalist
society, class divides people, and Marx says, the history of all hitherto existing society is the
history of class struggles (59). A society not divided among class would allow for production and
product to be in everyone s hands; and if wage labor did not create capital then workers cannot be
exploited. A Communist society allows for total equality amongst all citizens once the lower class
successfully revolts. Under Communism, everyone would be working together using the ruling
general interest in order to achieve the American

Although, sometimes our minds can get away from us with absent mindedness. This occurs when
we do not pay enough attention to a bit of information when we should be encoding it; it often
occurs when our attention is divided. For example, we may get distracted while walking a dog by a
butterfly or a strange noise and with this distraction, it can cause our attention to stray from the
dogЕ› surroundings to that object. If this occurs, the dog may escape from our grasp and into
possible danger like traffic. But ARC does have rules that may prevent this even with absent
mindedness; walkers have to have the leash around their wrist and in their hands to prevent
runaway dogs. Absent mindedness can also occur in a less dangerous matter. It could occur when
cleaning kennels. Since we are so used to cleaning the same kennel walls every week, we may
space out while hosing down the walls or spraying solution to sanitize them. Because at that point,
we are just going through the motions.
These routine motions are called algorithms. Algorithms are defined as step by step procedures

Question 2:
By using the 7.2% after tax rate and assuming the equipment will be sold at the beginning of the
5th year for its book value, if Agro Chem bought the equipment the company would achieve a
project NPV of ($1,043,500.23). In contrast, if Agro Chem decided to lease the equipment with the
same assumptions they would obtain a project NPV of ($1,030,205). Given these assumptions and
based off our calculated NPV we recommend that Agro Chem lease the equipment rather than buy
because of the $13,295.23 savings. This $13,295.23 savings is the NAL.

Niche Blog Essay
How to Start your Multi Niche Blog.
In Blogging, once we are going for a specific topic then instead of using the word Topic we can use
the word Niche. Many Pro bloggers are using the word niche instead of the word issue. When I was
a beginner in the field of SEO as well as blogging, I wondered what the niche is a huge thing and as
like pro bloggers used the word. Although now, Let me explain to you what niche is? A Niche can
be described as when we have created a blog only on a single topic like I am running my blog and
it is almost about SEO and internet marketing only, so the niche of Blog is SEO and internet
marketing and if someone is running a blog about development, then they have different Niche. A
niche can be around SEO, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
So it s recommended to make the team and work accordingly, this will make things easier and
efficient. You can also go for hiring content writers but make sure you don t compromise with the
quality of your articles. 4. SEO should be Everywhere Niche Doesn t Matter
One more point that can lead to a complete failure of your multi niche blog is SEO optimization.
It has been observed on many such blogs that SEO is not being followed. Such blogs devoid of
SEO optimized contents cannot live for long, an update can kill them totally and if you feel updates
don t come much often, check out Mozcast yourself.
Be very sure to post good optimized contents with proper use of Heading tags, image attributes,
permalink, keyword usage and all those points that come under On Page SEO. In fact, better SEO
can help you get good rankings and more importantly you can stick onto your rankings which many
blogs fail to. 5. Platform WordPress Recommended
If I am to answer this question, I will straight away point to WordPress. This doesn t mean that
blogger is sick, or blogger cannot be used, but the reason behind it is the control you get. Multi
niche blogs have many categories and different types of posts (including movie reviews), and all
this can be done effectively with WordPress. Multiple authors can be managed well according to
roles as well in WP. Moreover you can choose from a wide variety of customizable themes that you
cannot get on blogger platform, however, if you

What Is The Theme Of Honour In Othello
Discussing Shakespeare has always been an inspiring issue. But dealing with the issue of honour
in his works is even a more challenging matter. The aim of this thesis is to prove that honour has
been treated in Shakespeare tragedies as a key point which leads into his tragedies. Even though it
is dealt with it under dissimilar names, the consequences are the same. In three of his tragedies
Hamlet, Othelloand Romeo and Juliet honouris displayed as a main theme and at the same time as
a driving force, usually for the worse. Honour has been analysed as the same problem but with
different features. All the main characters of these tragedises kill in the name of honour.
nonetheless Hamlet kills to avenge his father`s death, Othello kills to purify... Show more content

In this thesis, there will be dealt with honour in three of Shakespeare s tragedies: Hamlet,
Othello and Romeo and Juliet. The aim of this thesis is to deal with honour not as a positive
contributor but as a destructive element. Because in the three tragedies we will analyse honour
has been the triger towards vengeance. In the writing of this thesis consulting many
Shakespearean scholars has been necessary and vital. One of the main ones is Harold Bloom.
Bloom has a deep appreciation for Shakespeare (Bloom 1994, pp. 2 3) and considers him to be
the supreme center of the Western Canon. (Bloom 1994, pp. 24 5). He has written numeral
works regarding different aspects of Shakespeare as a playwright. In 1998 Bloom conducted a
survey named Shakespeare: The Invention of the Human. In this survey Bloom provides a
detailed analysis of each of Shakespeare s 38 plays, twenty four of which are masterpieces.
(Bloom, 1998). Since it is written as a companion to the general reader and theatergoer, Bloom
states that bardolatry ought to be even more a secular religion than it already is. (Bloom,

The Success Of Tiger Beer
For many years, beer has become the world s most generally devoured alcoholic drink. With the
fast growing societies, thousands of beers are manufactured, sold and consumed every single day.
Just like any other drinks, there are many different types of beer such as Heineken, Carlsberg,
Tiger Beer, Guinness, Budweiser, Corona and Becks. There are many more brands of beerbut these
are a few brands that are well known around the globe. Among the brand of beers that were
mentioned above, Tiger Beer, owned by Asia Pacific Breweries(APB) has managed to work its way
up to become an international success. This iconic beer that was originated from Singapore has
won more than 40 worldwide honours and grants throughout the years (APB, n.a.). It... Show more

Throughout the years, Tiger beer has launched a number of successful campaigns. The recent
campaign that was launched was the Tiger Uncage . On the official tiger beer page, it stated that
uncage is about having the courage to follow your dreams and pursue your passion (TigerBeer
n.a.). The campaign was launched in 25 countries last year and the first launch started on May 1,
2014. The objective of this campaign is to rudder Tiger beer s worldwide launch of its brand
repositioning which include new logo and packaging. Apart from that, this campaign also
encourages people to realize their potential and inspire them to follow their dreams. During the
launch itself, more than a 100 guests including the media attended the major event. Three short
films showcasing real life stories of young Asians personalities including Singapore s very own
Anthony Chen were shown to the guests (R.D. Monchy, n.a.). Curated door gifts were given to
the 100s of guests and the gifts were part of a complement so that they can broaden their Uncage
experience beyond the event itself (R.D. Mochy, n.a.). This campaign was a success for Tiger
Beer. For the launching of the campaign, Tiger Beer used a few advertisingtools to promote its
event. There were a few advertisements that circulated the media. Tiger basically used both
traditional and new media for this campaign. The short films that were used during the event can
be found on new media such as YouTube and also traditional media such as the televisions. The
film consist of a few inspiring Asians such as Joey Pang, Anthony Chen and Charlie Ruedpokanon
sharing their inspiring stories and how they break free from conformity to pursue their dreams.
The stories that were used for advertising were quite relevant to the Uncage campaign. On the
local Today newspaper, picture of the Tiger Beer Uncage were printed on the front cover with a

A Duty Fixed By Civil Law
It has long been established that a tort occurs where there is breach of a general duty fixed by
civil law . The branch of law we know as negligence has been in development since the
establishment of a duty of care for one s neighbour in Donoghue v Stevenson . In that case, Lord
Atkin laid down general principles whereby a person would owe another a duty of care, the most
important being you must take reasonable care to avoid acts or omissions which you can
reasonably foresee would be likely to injure your neighbour . This principle has been refined on a
number of occasions and the current approach for establishing a duty of care is typified in Caparo
Industries plc v Dickman . Following Donoghue, a variety of cases came before the... Show more

those where a claimant has suffered financial damage but has incurred no personal injury or
damage to property . It is arguable that other losses which result from tort could possibly be
described as economic loss; however, the true definition of economic loss involves someone
who has suffered financial damage that does not result from personal injury or damage to
property. In Spartan Steel Alloys Ltd v Martin Co (Contractors) Ltd , the defendants were
negligent in cutting an electric cable, which then resulted in a 14 hour power cut in the area.
This affected a number of properties including the claimant s factory. With no power available to
heat the claimant s furnace in his factory, the metal there solidified and was ruined. The claimant
was also required to shut his factory temporarily. Civil litigation was initiated by the claimant for
damage to ruined metal (which constituted physical damage to property), loss of the profit that
would have been made had that metal been sold (labelled as economic loss arising from damage
to property) and loss of profit the factory would have made had it not been forced to close (pure
economic loss). A majority of the Court of Appeal held that only the first two heads of claim
were recoverable. The defendant owed a duty of care to the claimant not to damage their property
but no duty of care was owed with regard to loss of profit. It was found that it was

Scotland s Great Boundary In Brave By Pixar
Welcome to Scotland! In the movie, Brave by Pixar, the story of a mother and daughter s struggling
to communicate is infused with Scottish traditional clothing. Striving to preserve many Scottish
traditions, Pixar showcases Scotland s great symbol the tartan and masters the art of the great kilt.
Capturing some of the essences of Scotlands culture, Brave allows us a peek into a part of
Scotland s past and its family s histories. Following the tale of a mother and daughter that
struggle to see eye to eye, Pixar uses a storyline that crosses every culture boundary. In Brave, the
daughter Merida is a strong willed young girl, determined to make it on her own. Running wild in
the forest surround her castle with her bow and arrow, Merida does not want to grow up and
receive responsibility, but she just happens to be a princess. The Queen, Elinor, is caring, loving,
and only wants what is best for her family. She is... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A great kilt is a thick woolen cloth made up of two loom pieces sewn into a width of 60 inch and
up to 590 inch long. Left as an unaltered garment that would be gathered into pleats and secured
by a wide belt on the bottom and the top half was draped over your left shoulder. The kilt could
be used for protection against the weather and even used as a blanket if needed. Under the kilt, the
men could either wear a shirt or not. The pattern that decorates the kilt can be arranged in different
colors and a variety of strips of different widths, known as Tartan. In America, a tartan is known as
the pattern, plaid. Evidence suggest that tartan and kilts have been around since the 5th or 6th
Century, but didn t come into common use until the 1500 or so. Each clan creates their pattern of
tartan to help identify themselves. Tartan is one of the most important symbols of Scotland, and
many wear it in many styles

A major environmental impact that is occurs when bringing in resources is through the transportation of them. However by 1529 Wolsey had been charged with praemunire and was due to be executed in November 1530. The most important reason for this was because of Wolsey s failure to obtain a divorce between Catherine of Aragon and Henry VIII. • 5. Summary Of Oppression By Paul Laurence Dunbar Oppression is at the root of many of the most serious, enduring conflicts in the world. Times were tough in America during the turn of the century. Lots of changes were occurring, and many folks had a difficult time coming to terms with them. Black Americans in particular found themselves caught in a culture that appeared somewhat better than it had been before and during the Civil War. But the fact of the matter was: things just weren t so peachy. This poem is a reaction to the racial climate of the late nineteenth century. The son of former slaves, Paul Laurence Dunbar, was born on June 27, 1872 in Dayton, Ohio to parents who had been enslaved in Kentucky before the American Civil War. At age 33, he died of tuberculosis on February 9, 1906. He was the first African American poet to reach a wide audience, publishing verse poems and short stories before his early death. His use of both negro dialect and standard English helped to portray his cultural lifestyle, joys, and tribulations distinguishing him from other writers of the late 1800s, early 1900s. In his poem, the speaker opens the poem with the declaration that we wear masks that hide our true feelings. He goes on to emphasize the severity of the pain and suffering that these masks try to cover up. By the end we understand that all of the politeness and subdued emotions are just phony disguises of the painful truths that hide behind them. With that knowledge, he try s to get his audience to understand his purpose in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Changing Photojournalism Education in American Universities Kenneth Kenney stated the obvious in 1987 The lack of trained teachers and educators and standard teaching materials is the most pressing problem in photojournalism education (Kenney 1987). The same rings true today professors in the fields of journalism and photojournalism are practicing the same things they were taught in college many have been out of the workforce for years, if they were working journalists or photojournalists at all. This intense visual is shockingly manifested through marble in the sculpture Laocoön and His Sons by Hagesandros, Polydoros, and Athenodoros of Rhodes. This alluring orchestra of artistic elements is the perfect compilation of technical perfection and emotional expression. The exaggerated drama of the piece is the style of the Greek s Hellenistic period. All things considered, Laocoön and His Sons possess both exquisite formal components and content and has the capability to provide insight into both the culture of the Greeks, as well as the attitudes of humanity towards its enemies. To commence, the formal composition of Laocoön and His Sons is enticing. The piece is carved in marblewith a height of eight feet. The marble white hue of the statue seems to accentuate the intricate anatomy of the figures. The three males are arranged upon a base. On one of the far sides of the platform, there resides a pillar style seating with drapery which dangles off in a waterfall like manner. These basic laws are involved with every aspect of the game from how a player swings the club to how the ball moves through the air on its way toward the pin. It is the challenge that physics presents to the golfer that has allowed the game, and equipment used, to develop so drastically over the past one hundred years. Obviously a lot of time, effort, research, and money were put forth into the development of the golf ball, as it is manufactured today. The reason for this ongoing process is to help a golfer use some laws of physics to his advantage (i.e. placing spin on the ball to create lift) while finding a work around for other physical properties that can be detrimental to a players golf game (i.e. drag which causes the ball to slow down and fly closer to the ground). When examining the physics, which surrounds the game of golf, one must carefully consider all aspects of the game, not just the golf ball or even just the equipment being used. The stroke is by far the most important aspect to any participants round of golf. Among the scientific community, an event, such as the golf stroke, is thought of as a dynamic process using the physical principals of mechanics based on Newton s Laws of motion. The stroke is actually three separate events; the swing of the club, the impact of the club head with the ball, and the flight of the ball toward the target. It is the sum of these three parts that makes a successful stroke. The aim of this thesis is to deal with honour not as a positive contributor but as a destructive element. Because in the three tragedies we will analyse honour has been the triger towards vengeance. He has written numeral works regarding different aspects of Shakespeare as a playwright. In 1998 Bloom conducted a survey named Shakespeare: The Invention of the Human. In this survey Bloom provides a detailed analysis of each of Shakespeare s 38 plays, twenty four of which are masterpieces. (Bloom, 1998). Since it is written as a companion to the general reader and theatergoer, Bloom states that bardolatry ought to be even more a secular religion than it already is. (Bloom, ... It is arguable that other losses which result from tort could possibly be described as economic loss; however, the true definition of economic loss involves someone who has suffered financial damage that does not result from personal injury or damage to property. In Spartan Steel Alloys Ltd v Martin Co (Contractors) Ltd , the defendants were negligent in cutting an electric cable, which then resulted in a 14 hour power cut in the area. This affected a number of properties including the claimant s factory. With no power available to heat the claimant s furnace in his factory, the metal there solidified and was ruined. The claimant was also required to shut his factory temporarily. Civil litigation was initiated by the claimant for damage to ruined metal (which constituted physical damage to property), loss of the profit that would have been made had that metal been sold (labelled as economic loss arising from damage to property) and loss of profit the factory would have made had it not been forced to close (pure economic loss). A majority of the Court of Appeal held that only the first two heads of claim were recoverable. The defendant owed a duty of care to the claimant not to damage their property but no duty of care was owed with regard to loss of profit. It was found that it was ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
