benefit of a higher coupon rate. In a result, as the coupon rate attracts investors they are more
willing to pay a premium for the bond. Once the bond matures, the investor will have received the

holding William. In chapter XX of Lincoln in The Bardo President Lincoln is told to have held
William s body for almost ten minutes by the three main narrators Hans Vollman, Roger Bevins
III, and the Reverend Everly Thomas (58 Saunders). And this is what the novel is about.
Learning to work through one s grief by letting go and finding better ways to cope. In the novel
William is stuck in the bardo, which is defined by the Merriam Webster dictionary as the

trying to stay in the graveyard in this bardo state, declines in spirit health. On page 195 the
Reverend Everly Thomas describes William in this manner as real as the fading, webbed boy
breathing shallowly at my feet, banded down snugly across his chest like a captive of the wild
Indians. The reader had been warned at the beginning of the novel at how terrible it is for
children to stay in the bardo for long. William is choosing to stay stuck in this place of limbo
because he not only does not understand where he is, but his father also told William s remains
that they would be back. The other spirits know that for children it is better for them to move on
to the unknown and try to encourage him to it. William was almost convinced to move on until

Flexor Digitorum Profundus Rupture
Flexor digitorum profundus rupture, commonly called jersey finger, is a condition in which you are
unable to bend your finger without assistance. This is caused by an injury to connective tissue
(tendon) in the last joint of your finger, farthest form your palm. The tendon tears (ruptures), which
restricts your ability to bend your finger joint.
Sometimes, when the tendon ruptures it can break off a piece of bone. This is called an avulsion
fracture.
CAUSES
This condition is commonly caused by forced straightening (extension) of a bent (flexed) finger.
When force on the tendon is too great, the tendon ruptures. Less commonly, this condition can be
caused by a cut (laceration).

Pain when moving the finger.
Inability to bend the finger without assistance. When you do bend the finger with assistance, it
may be able to bend all the way (it may have full passive range of motion).
Bruising. This may not happen for up to 48 hours after the time of injury.

TREATMENT
This condition often needs to be treated with surgery. Before surgery, treatment involves icing and

Fluorescent spectrophotometry determined the excitation wavelength of eosin isothiocyanate to be
525 nm and its emission wavelength was 545 nm. Glycogen phosphorylase was similarly studied.
The excitation wavelength was 330 nm and the emission wavelength was 360 nm. The emission
wavelength could be indicative of the presence of the fluorophore, tryptophan. The potential
interaction between bovine serum albumin (BSA) and 1 anilino 8 naphthalene sulfonic acid (ANS)
was studied through fluorescenceand fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET). BSA had an
emission wavelength of 358 nm which could also be indicative of a tryptophan. When BSA and
ANS were mixed together, the emission wavelength was longer suggesting that the molecules
interact with each other and follow FRET.
