Obesity is ranked second among preventable causes of death. About 70% of
American adults are either overweight or obese. Being obese or overweight puts the
host at a higher risk for health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, and much
more (Alonso Alonso). When I found out about this jaw dropping information, I
decided to take action and I made it my goal to maintain a low body fat percentage
over the course of two weeks (I will be sharing my experience further down the
road). Because of an elevated mood, aesthetic improvements, health benefits, and my
positive experience, obtaining low bodyfat percentage is very beneficial.
To begin, having a low bodyfat percentage is beneficial because it has the ability to

I ve learned that there is no one leader in any team. There are many different things
that someone can do within a team to be a leader and show their leadership skills.
To me leadership is when someone in a team passes along knowledge or skills to
someone else in the team. This knowledge or skill passed along must be beneficial
and must be new knowledge and a new experience for the person being led. Anyone
can be a leader if given the right resources. This belief has really shown me that it is
a lot easier to be a leader than I had once thought. You don t have to be the one in
charge or the one with the most power to be a leader. There is usually more than one
leader in every team. It is easier to have people who are different in a team because it
makes it easier for everyone to showcase their skills and show their leadership. My
thought process about leadership now, is fairly different than what I had thought
at the beginning of this semester. I still do believe in some of my original beliefs,
but I now understand more what it is to show leadership and actually be a leader.

practices were the basis of this study. Rubin developed a sexual hierarchy where at the
top were good/normal practices emphasizing monogamy and heterosexuality. While at

Their research also looked at the heavy social influence on human sexuality. Rubin
grouped western nations into 4 separate sexual regimes , the two mentioned in this

s sexual hierarchy using a tailored behavior inventory in which participants indicated

Part of this sense of the totality of the modern self adding up to a fractured variety
emerges, not just from the shifting sense of the images and the multiplicity of
narration , but also from the variety in the verse style. It s as if in the modern age,
there cannot be a single authoritative way of expressing how one feels. There is not
enough confidence in the forms of language itself. Just as the traditional community

The images in The Waste Land are supported by two distinct ways of narration. The
lyric voice opening the poem uses metaphoric, often symbolic images and speaks in

on the other hand stasis. This voice speaks with authority and finality as it recurs in
scenes throughout the poem where the vision of barrenness and revulsion from life is
intensely clear and controlled. This voice contrasts with many voices speaking in
metonymically rendered narrative scenes full of movement and change. These other

I think that this is a debate in itself among the prosecutors and the defense because
the prosecutors want to use it in hopes of getting more convictions instead of
risking fighting a trial that is hard to get a guilty verdict from, while the defense
try to resist plea bargaining as because they are willing to fight the trial due to the
fact that there is bad evidence or no proof to get a guilty verdict. This is another
reason why plea bargains are not going anywhere. The judges, however, are another
story because they still to this day side with the prosecutors in wanting a lighter case
load so that it gives more time for more important or time consuming
