My Life Of My Grandmother
In 66 years, you can t imagine how much has changed in the world. When I was talking to my
grandmother, I was surprised at how many similarities and differences I heard. Some of the things
I learned about was their transportation, school, and what she did for entertainment. I realized that
this world is very different than the world she grew up in and we should be grateful for what we
have.
My grandma s name is Usha Patel and she currently is 66 years old. She was born in Umalla, India
and she grew up with her brother, parents, and her grandparents. During that time period, nobody
owned phones or any type of technology. If they wanted to contact people, they would have to
mail letters. There were post offices almost around every corner. Unlike today, they had dirt
roads for the vehicles to drive on. Their transportation was mostly by foot, but there were some
people with cars. Their environment wasn t that advanced yet, but there were rickshaw s for
transportation if they had to go somewhere far. My grandmother s school was in her village. By
that I mean, very close, not even miles away. Everyday she would walk to school with her
friends. Her school was a lot like ours today. My grandma did have very strict teachers, but she
also had fun. They played sports like us and they had the same subjects as we do. She had science,

Device that Can Process the Output of a Guitar Pickup and...
The objective of this project is to design and created a device that can process the output of a guitar
pickup and automatically tune the guitar to the desired overall tuning. The core principles of the
projects would be a device that is built exclusively for tuning a guitar. The device developed from
the current project should be both gentle and durable. When the user strums all six strings together,
the vibrations are detected by a piezoelectric sensor which utilizes an algorithm to determine each
strings fundamental frequency. The tuning pegis then turned by a servo, which is controlled by a
microcontroller, to adjust the tension until the desert are detected by a piezoelectric sensor which

Since our turning device developed from this project should be compatible with all types of electric
guitar, my specific contributions to the project deals with system design, experimental analysis
and problem solving. I come up with the hardware design. Like we said before, there are other
devices out there such as Tropical Tune s Self Tuning system, so the signal processing part of our
design has proven durable. The problem we encounter the most is the one deals with actual
hardware, in this case the displacement of six tuning pegs of the different kind of guitars. The

The Aims Of Literature Search
The aims of literature search are multiple. For starters, it is a necessary preparation for literature
review that is to say, after searching for existing knowledge, we may have a deeper insight into
research we are going to conduct. Additionally, it is an appropriate approach to update knowledge
