2013. On a hike to visit a waterfall, we came across this AWESOME Banyan Tree. I could not
help but wonder how long that branch was, so I did what any normal person without any

About Me
This year is my eighth at WCHS and my ninth year teaching mathematics. I have taught
Geometry and Algebra I all nine years. I love spending time with my friends and family. My
husband and I live in Washington, and we are proud to reside in this strong and resilient
community. This year is my third as the Mathletes coach and my first year as a freshman class
adviser. I am looking forward to upcoming Homecoming activities and Boo Bash, as well as
preparing for the Regional ICTM (Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics) Math contest. Mrs.

Hamlet has a very convoluted plot. It begins with Hamlet seeing his father s ghost and telling
Hamlet that he was wrongfully murdered by his own brother, the new king of Denmark. His
father s ghost asks Hamlet to avenge him and take back the crown. This scene really sends
Hamlet down the rabbit hole because we know later on in the film that he has a difficult time
pursuing his uncle, Claudius (played by Derek Jacobi). The prince of Denmark goes through

the actual play, it mostly focuses on Hamlet and his madness, but in Branagh s film version we get

Year after year a behavioral change began to impact her life; she became irritable, fatigued and
gained almost fifty pounds. She was no longer fun to be around and isolated herself away from
everyone. Her kids would ask if she was okay and knew something was wrong. The work related
stress and harassment she received from her bosses triggered symptoms of depression. The job
took place at Unknown Healthcare where she was an administrative assistant. An office job that
paid fairly well, however, was stressful because of the rigorous demands from the bosses and the
abusive behavior in which they treated her. She was working 9 5 everyday with some days of
overtime while being a single parent with two young kids. She decided it was in her best interest
to quit the job and find something where she would be happier and healthier. However the
damage was already done as she currently, to this day, suffers from chronic depression. After

My School Experience Essay
For my curriculum placement I was at Granger Elementary School in Agawam MA. I got the
opportunity to work in a special ed classroom with the wonderful Mrs. Alvord. My field
experience this semester I would say has to be my favorite placement yet. Some of the reasons
why this is my best placement yet is because first I absolutely love my teacher, the kids have
been awesome, and working with them has been so much fun and rewarding. My beliefs about
teaching learning were confirmed as a result of this experience with my teacher and the
classroom environment. My beliefs that I have had in mind for my future classroom that was
confirmed in my placement right now is 1) Creating a classroom environment where everyone is
