3. • 2017 is the most successful year yet with more funding
committed in rounds 1 and 2 than in all 3 rounds in 2016
• Over 136 million euro of funding committed so far, out
of 148 million, to 844 applications
• We have reached the halfway mark in the UK with 500
million euro allocated since 2014

4. • 2018 Call due to be published before the end of
October 2017
• UK Government has confirmed that Treasury will
underwrite grant agreements signed while the UK is
still an EU Member State
• We urge UK organisations to prepare as usual for the
2018 application deadlines

5. • More funding will be available for the UK in 2018
• ‘Schools only’ Key Action 2 Partnerships will change to
School Exchange Partnerships; designed to increase
participation of schools with a simpler application form
• Some elements of European Voluntary Service will
transfer to European Solidarity Corps, but there will still
be a significant funding in youth Key Action 1
• Changes will be confirmed when the European
Commission publishes the 2018 Call and Programme
