This training program provides students with skills in industrial engineering and logistics management. Students gain experience managing an on-campus mini-company, taking on roles in production, quality control, purchasing, and more. Throughout the program, students work on cross-disciplinary projects and learn about all aspects of supply chain management. The goal is for graduates to have one year of work experience in areas like production management, supply chain consulting, and project management. Coursework covers topics from process engineering and quality management to digital factory systems and supply chain optimization. Students learn technical skills as well as relationship and project management abilities valued by employers.

1. 0 GENERAL INTRODUCTION
The"IndustrialandLogisticsEngineering"specialisationisintendedforfuturespecialistsincross-disciplinarysupplychainmanagement,
with a dual focus on:
>> Theacquisitionofstrategic,tacticalandoperationalskills,inparticularinindustrialengineeringandlogistics,includingthecapacity
to understand all the profession's needs, to reorganise processes and industrial IT operation (ERP, flow simulation, etc.)
>> The acquisition of project management tools by working on projects (in line with ISO10006 on project management processes and
PMBOOK), team management, overall quality and deciding whether or not to delegate, all with awareness of their impact on the
environment
To help students quickly acquire new skills, throughout the final year, theoretical coursework is paired with a joint project on managing
a mini-company (OSIA), including every step of the process, from the concept to selling mid-range writing products.

Each student is assigned a specific role in an organisation defined by the students themselves, in addition to their work on cross-
disciplinary projects. This teaches students to handle organisational complexity. Throughout every step of this project, the teaching
team will include committed coaches at the students' disposal, to help them develop their professional reflexes as quickly as possible.
For example, students learn about the costs of direct acquisition and related processes, so that they become familiar with each step of
negotiating a corporate project, i.e. everything that makes up the total cost.
The original grading system for this project raises students' accountability and helps them develop team spirit: a fraction of the final
project grade is left up to students.
At the end of this specialisation, graduates have a set of technical, relational and behavioural skills worth one year of work experience,
as compared with a traditional degree programme.

The Osia project includes an intense coaching: 20h during 4A & approximately 50h during 5A.
Osia, as a professionalizing project is managed by the students of the option. Each student plays a specific role within the different de-
partments (Industry, Logistics, Marketing/sales, Quality, Finance, Human resources…) with the aim to conceive, produce, and sell the
final product.
This repetitive project evolves each year with new outcomes.
The development axes of Osia include always the following matters:
- Innovation
- Sales action plan
- Purchasing strategy to settle down
- Production line and flow to manage
- IT implementation plan and flow simulation
- Prototypes achievements
- Financial development of the “Osia Concept Design” Company
- Quality system implementation
- Industrial Risks measure
The Chief executive Officer, elected by the other students, settles down a strategy, implemented by all the team in order to meet the
shareholders’ requirements: For example, concrete goals could consist of selling 250 pens, improvement of existing products, decrease
the global costs up to 20 % …
The project is during for 6 months, and after the capitalization is done, the project is to be continued the year after.
It is the way it works since 1998.
The innovation, the reputation and the durability have been main strategic axis since 2 years.
The project is possible thanks to 1 main partner where practical work is done :

Taking part in this project allows the students to include future economic and industrial outcomes they will face in their future roles.
At the same time, they achieve concrete industrial results.
