1. Environment Presentation
My entire environmenthasbeenprepared,withall the model’slaidoutcorrectly,andnow Ineedto
presentthe environmentusinga‘built’version.
Whena Unity projectisbuilt,thatmeansthat itis exportedasan.exe file withall necessarydata
copiedintoa folder.Inthisform,the game can be playedwithoutneedingacopyof the game
engine,anditispresentedasa game inan uneditable state.
In orderto buildthe game,Ifirstopenedupthe Unityprojectthat I was building,the environmentI
had made.Once inthe project,I selectedfile >buildsettings.Whilethere isthe optionfor‘build&
run’,I wantedto make sure that the settings were correct.

2. The buildsettingshave optionsforanumberof differentOperatingSystems.The reasonforthisis
that differentOSeshave differentfile requirements.Inmycase,I needtoexportthe game as a
WindowsPCstandalone.
Once the settingshave beenverified,pressingbuildwill make the game andexportthe executable
and data foldertoa locationof your choosing.

3. NowI have the game as an independentsetof files.Inmypresentationabove,Iusedathird-party
videorecorder(Camstudio) torecorda windowedversionof the game.
By default,whenthe game isstartedupitcomesup witha window thatallowsyoutomodifythe
pixel resolutionof the game,aswell asmodifygraphical fidelitywithsomewhatgenericquality
options. Pressingplay startsthe game.
