For the Americans:
The King dream is tied directly to the American dream.
Its ideal is equal protection under the law for all to excel
in liberty, to be individuals but to be able to rise as a
group.
For the Filipino people:
My dream for the Filipinos is to have equality as the
government views them, to have peaceful life where no
one is left behind and the rights and justices are sure to
be serve despite of different impairments and status.
For America:
“ I have a dream,” he declared, “my four little children
will one day live in a nation where they will not be
judged by the color of their skin but by the content of
their character. I have a dream today!”
For the Philippines:
My dream for my country is progress and prosperity,
where there is enough for everyone, where no Filipino
is left behind in poverty, where every Filipino family
lives in comfort and dignity, a country that seeks
prosperity for all and not only for a few.
For his own children/family:
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day
live in a nation where they will not be judged by the
