The learner demonstrates understanding of how Anglo-American literature and other text types serve as means of valuing other people; also how to use processing
information strategies, different forms of adverbs and conditionals for him/her to play an active part in a Chamber Theatre presentation.

The learner proficiently plays an active part in a Chamber Theatre presentation through employing effective verbal and non- verbal strategies based on the following

Listening is a skill. It is one of
the communication skills like
reading, writing and
speaking. It is a sound
vibration as perceived by the
sense of hearing. It is an act
of hearing attentively.
Hearing is a physical, natural
and passive process while
listening is physical and
mental process.
Creative listening- active
listening for total meaning.
Discuss briefly the adverb of
time.
Discuss the adverb of place.
Adverb –is a word that
describes or modifies a verb,
an adjective, or another
adverb.
-Adverb of Time – it answers
the question WHEN.
-Adverb of Place- it answers
the question WHERE.

disseminates printed matter. It
is the oldest media that is
responsible to report the latest
and accurate information.
Ex: magazines, newspapers,
scholarly journals, newsletters
and other materials printed on
the paper.

Adverb modifies a verb,
an adjective and another
adverb. It can be found
at the beginning of the
sentence, after or before
the verb and at the end
of the sentence.
Print media- a medium that
disseminates printed
matter. It is the oldest
media that is responsible to
report the latest and
accurate information.
The Man with the Hoe is a
poem by the American poet
Edwin Markham, inspired by
Millet’s painting L’homme a
la houe, a painting
interpreted as a socialist
protest about the peasant’s
plight.
It portrays the labor of much
of humanity using the
symbolism of a laborer upon
his hoe, burdened by his
work, but receiving little rest
of reward. The poet
describes the man with the
hoe as pitiful and pitiable
figure. The poet draws the
attention to the degradation
that is direct result of the
farmer’s subsistence
lifestyle.

Winfrey is one of the
famous personality in
America.
Martin Luther King Jr. was born
on January 15, 1929 at Atlanta,
GA, USA. He was a leader of
Southern Christian Leadership
Conference”. He had a dream that
all inhabitants of US would be
judged by their personal qualities
and not by the color of their skin.
He received the Peace Prize for
his nonviolent campaign against
racism. He was murderd by a
white racist last April 4, 1968.
According to him, everybody can’t
be famous but everybody can be
great through giving of service.

It can be found at the beginning of the sentence, after or before the verb and at the end of the sentence. Print media- a medium that disseminates printed matter. It is the oldest media that is responsible to report the latest and accurate information. The Man with the Hoe is a poem by the American poet Edwin Markham, inspired by Millet’s painting L’homme a la houe, a painting interpreted as a socialist protest about the peasant’s plight. It portrays the labor of much of humanity using the symbolism of a laborer upon his hoe, burdened by his work, but receiving little rest of reward. The poet describes the man with the hoe as pitiful and pitiable figure. The poet draws the attention to the degradation that is direct result of the farmer’s subsistence lifestyle. What have you realized about Martin Luther King Jr. after you have watched the video? Oprah Winfrey is one of the famous personality in America. Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 at Atlanta, GA, USA. He was a leader of Southern Christian Leadership Conference”. He had a dream that all inhabitants of US would be judged by their personal qualities and not by the color of their skin. He received the Peace Prize for his nonviolent campaign against racism. He was murderd by a white racist last April 4, 1968. According to him, everybody can’t be famous but everybody can be great through giving of service.
