COORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS
•A conjunction is a part of speech that
is used to connect words, phrases,
clauses, or sentences. They can be
one word or a few words. They glue
words, phrases and clauses together
and are made to convey two ideas in

ACTIVITY 1: ANALYZATION
DIRECTION:
ANALYZE THE ARTICLE AND UNDELINE THE
CONJUNCTIONS.

ACTIVITY 2: MATCHING TYPE
DIRECTION:
Choose one clause from column A and
complete the sentence using coordinating
conjunction and a clause from column B.

ACTIVITY 3: GAMES AND SONGS
General Direction:
For the following activity, you have 2 min to prepare and 3 min. To
present. Present it as creative as you can.
Group 1: Rap Me
Give the Meaning of coordinating conjunction through a “RAP”
Group 2: Message Relay
He/she randomly pick coordinating conjunction in a box, then let the
leader read and relay the message to other members of the group.
Group 3: Picture perfect
Look at the picture. Make 5 sentences using coordinating
conjunction. Present it creatively
