This document discusses how Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust uses the Employee Relations module in ESR to record and manage employee relations cases such as grievances, disciplinaries, and flexible working requests. It allows the Trust to track key details and outcomes for each case, report on case volumes and protected characteristics, and efficiently answer Freedom of Information requests. Recording cases electronically in ESR rather than on paper files saves resources and helps the HR team manage caseloads and meet deadlines.
