  6. I needed to teach : The name and purpose of 40 different kitchen utensils To a class of Entry 2 level learners. This class had learners with a wide variety of support needs. It included learners who: Cannot read, Can read and write but cannot speak Learners with dyslexia On autistic spectrum who were unable to ask for help when they get stuck on a question. **** CLICK **** Because of these needs, most of the learners could not work independently and needed lots of support. **** CLICK **** We would need to manually track the progress of each learner which was both: Time consuming Subject to human error **** CLICK **** Sharing support staff meant that learners couldn’t truely work at their own pace. We needed a way to remove some of these barriers and allow more independent learning. **** CLICK ****
