2. Incorporating Audio and Visual There are countless ways to incorporate Audio/Visual Technologies into the classroom. Incorporating these creates a more interactive and multisensory learning experience by engaging more of the students’ senses. (287) Some of the ways Audio/Visual technology can be incorporated are through: sound effects, relative educational videos, PowerPoint presentations, etc.

3. Audio in Teaching Whether it’s third grade or college, the most common source of Audio teaching in the classroom is a teacher’s voice. (288) Sometimes this is effective for relaying information to different learners and sometimes its not. Some of the ways a teacher can incorporate different Audio technologies into the classroom are by earphones, cassette recorders and players, prerecording for students to listen to and a table with activities centered around listening equipment activites.

4. Visual technologies in Teaching and Learning The most common visual incorporated in the classroom a non-projected visuals. These included objects, printed graphics, photographs, etc. By incorporating Visuals into a presentation or lesson you are stimulating your students sense. This is a great technique because it provides more than just an auditory approach for capturing your students attention while providing them with a visual to correlate the information attained by auditory exchange. 5. Creating a Outstanding Presentation There are MANY things you can do as an educator to create a positive teaching experience and an even better learning experience for your students. Be prepared! Research and know your stuff Understand your audience, be prepared to incorporate different techniques for different learning styles Present your researched material in an organized manner Include charts , graphs, pictures and other visuals Include auditory activities, along with condensed effective lectures Have fun!
