Personal Learning Environment (PLE)
Any Web 2.0 platform and the associated
online spaces created and shared by a user for
learning purposes can be considered as a PLE
PLE main features:
●   Aggregation of resources from the cloud
●   Search, filtering and recommendation
●   Extensions through Web apps (widgets, gadgets)
●   Control of privacy settings, roles and rights
●   Repurposing features (CRUD)
●   SALT features (share, assess, link, tag)
●   … and a link with institutional platforms
Personnel Learning Environment (PLE)
Graasp, the PLE enabler from EPFL deployed
in the framework of the AAA/SWITCH PLE
