The advent of Personal Learning Environments raises many challenges to higher education institutions: How to introduce more student centric and self-regulated learning models? How to promote and encourage digital literacy? What kind of support should be proposed to students to help them efficiently exploit the available learning material and resources from their institutions, their peers and the Web 2.0 ecosystem? The PLE project is addressing some of these issues between the University of Geneva, the University of Fribourg and the EPFL. The objective of this event is to share the experience of the partners and freely exchange about these issues in other places.
