Abstract — Advancement in the technology has paved path for a new educational nomenclature, i.e., ‘Virtual Classroom’. Virtual Classroom is a teaching-learning environment like the traditional classrooms but offers a wide range of learning flexibility in the virtual environments when compared to traditional education systems. The main hitch in the existing systems is the lack of proper interaction between the students and the teacher. Therefore, this research work focuses on detecting the students in the classroom, recognizing the face of the student who has raised
hand for a doubt, and displaying the details of the student such as student name and student id of that particular student. An High Definition Pan-Tilt-Zoom Camera is used to monitor the students and capture their images. The Virtual Classroom specific system makes use of the popular Viola-Jones algorithm for real time Face Detection, Hand-raise Gesture Detection and face of the hand raised student is extracted using image segmentation and morphological operation, followed by point feature extraction and finally Face Recognition is done using Eigen Faces. Thus, the virtual learning environments through proper Face Recognition with special attention to students’ needs or queries are an important aspect for a better learned society.

East Virginia Medical School works with iFactory to retrofit their public and portal sites to be fully responsive. See how they worked together to not only surmount obstacles (usability, layouts, deployment) but establish design rules that allow EVMS to roll out new responsive sites over time. Click here to view the full presentation on YouTube: http://bit.ly/1rXq2zL
Many obstacles stand in the way of converting a large fixed-width site into a responsive one. How do you address usability problems while limiting the amount of recoding? How do you handle a layout that has organically evolved from its initial design through heavy use? How do you deploy major design alterations from one server to another without breaking current functionality? See how iFactory and EVMS worked together to not only surmount all of these obstacles, but establish design rules that allow EVMS to roll out new responsive sites over time.

A TOUR OF THE STUDENT’S E-LEARNING PUDDLEacijjournal
E-learning has revolutionized our realm in more than just a listable number of ways. But it took a
paradigm shift when it entered the threshold of the varsity system. With the prevailing spoon-feeding era,
are the students really industry ready? We answer that by confirming afact: web-based learning has
become the oxygen of freshers in the IT Industry instead of the traditionallearning done through
graduation. Furthermore, are university enforced e-learning assessment systems a true representation of a
student's proficiency? This paper is a peep into what web-based e-learning systems are to a student of
today's world, by giving an overview of university-level e-learning in India deploying an example from
SRM University's organizational framework. It assesses a key e-learning trend, the implementation of
which bridges the gap between universities and the industry. It is proposed to provide constructive
feedback to the e-learning community and shine some light on areas of scope for future developments.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
2. Aggregators
An aggregator is a software or a website that makes it simpler to
gather crisp data from various sources. Most recent news from various
sources can be made accessible to individuals by the best news
aggregator.
3. Educational Aggregators
Nowadays the number of learners taking part in web-based learning
delivered by the lead aggregators is developing step by step.
It is very apparent that in the coming years both the students and the
aggregators are drastically going to expand more than ever.
6. Advantage
Using online education aggregators is almost beneficial in
alleviating the difficulties in educational sectors. There are various
media learning material and answers for the learners from each
dimension in the form of Modules and PowerPoint presentation.
Through their dedicated test series, these platforms also provide
students with a revision option.
Because all of this is online; students can choose the way and the
time they would like to be engaged.
7. Advantage
In addition to all these, online education aggregators have also made
education solutions available across the board to every student. They
have services for the learners who want to plan or prepare for a skill
proficiency exam or a language or are looking to re-expertise
themselves.
They have made it less demanding for them to interact with training
classes and institutes which suit their necessities.
8. Advantage
Numbers of the teachers are using aggregators to create some
collection of useful resources for students. This approach can
facilitate research projects and can help students to access reliable
sources. “Feed readers, which often allow readers to make their
customized collection of sites publicly visible, can automate this
process.
Each time you start a new unit of study, track down several current
sources and organize them on a new page in a feed reader. By doing
so, you can give students an online destination for constantly
updated content covering the topic you are studying in class."(Garry
et al. 2010, P 15)
9. Advantage
Sometimes teachers use aggregators to monitor the sites that the
students create for collaborating with another student.
11. Disadvantage
However there are many benefits of using aggregators for
educational purposes, there are some challenges of using this kind of
software in the classrooms.
Many sites don't provide RSS feeds that create them abundant more
durable to track after they have updates. These websites can usually
miscarry the cracks and be forgotten.
12. Disadvantage
Student privacy should be taken into thought. Learners security must
be taken into consideration. If professors or alternative students
would like to publish photos and work by a student they need to
follow the FIPPA guideline.
The End..
