Universal Design is an educational framework that aims to include all students in lessons by presenting information in multiple formats so that each student can understand, regardless of ability level. The three principles of Universal Design are to provide multiple means of representation, action and expression, and engagement. This allows teachers to present material in different ways that account for various learning needs, provide hands-on activities, and engage all students through autonomy and motivation.
