This document discusses computer-assisted language learning (CALL) and its effectiveness in teaching English. It explains how CALL is based on constructivist learning theories that emphasize learning by doing and using technology. A case study was conducted among 106 English learners in Malaysia to evaluate the effectiveness of a CALL program in areas like reading, writing, conversation and grammar. The findings showed that over 80% of participants found the CALL system helpful for improving their English skills, especially in reading, writing and grammar.
