The basics about editing a design.

 The basics about your screen view under "Edit Design"




1) Under "Browse Designs," you will see the following set of icons under each individual design.

Refresh Icon: This allows you to get a thumbnail of the design. You can click on the refresh icon every
time you want to update the design thumbnail.
Delete Icon: This allows you to to delete the design from your list. You can only delete the design only
if the design is not being used.
Download Icon: This is for downloading your design. It will be downloaded as a zip file where you will
see the files and images that are used in your design. This allows you to edit any design offline and
upload it later.
World Icon: This is to preview your design template in a browser.

2) Under "Drop Here," there is an icon to download the design you are currently are working on.

3) Under "Start Editing," the web site diagram will help you identify what part of your website you want
to work on. You can work on the footer, the menu, the contents, the sections, the banner or the entire
template.

Your main template can have many other content template associated with it. A content template is the
template you use to create each page of the website. To create or edit any content template, just click

the add or edit icon in the content area.

4) The "Help Wizard" helps you with every new screen in Smanager. If you click on the "Help Wizard"
from any screen of Smanager, you will get help with what your are currently doing and all the functions
in your current screen.

 How to edit a template




1) Under "Browse Designs," you have the list of all the designs you have created for this account. For
example, let's say you have an account (example.com) and you want to use two different design
templates - one for the home page and the other for the inner pages, both will be listed here. Also you
can have many different design options, which is very helpful when you want to show your clients
different design options.

2) To start working on any design, just drag and drop the design into the middle panel.

3) Start editing by clicking on the section of that design that you want to edit. The plus icon allows you
to add more options for every specific block. For example, you can add as many content templates as
you like.

4) To edit the whole template, you need to click on "Edit Website Template".

When you click on "Edit Website Template," you will see that you can edit the doctype of your template.

 About Menus




Smanager has an smart menu interpreter that understands your code. To take full advantage of this
feature make sure that the pages in your template are named as is showed in the image, with this
name: PAGE-NAME.

 Sections




Here we show you how you can place any section in the template. Just click on your mouse where you
want to insert the section in your template and click the section name.

Custom Sections




You can create as many custom sections as you need for each website. And you can edit them online
too.

Smanager gives you a set of useful widgets you can customize and use in each of your websites. Just
click on "Get [name of widget]"and you will see a window open that allows you to customize it and then
use it.
