This document provides an anatomical overview of the ear in 3 parts:
1. The outer ear including the pinna, external auditory meatus, and tympanic membrane.
2. The middle ear containing the ossicles (malleus, incus, stapes), muscles, nerves, and blood vessels. It also describes the walls and contents of the middle ear cavity.
3. The inner ear consisting of the bony and membranous labyrinth containing the cochlea, vestibule, and semicircular canals as well as their associated nerves and ganglia.
