This document describes an interoperable platform called MINT that allows for the creative reuse of cultural heritage collections. It aggregates content from over 600 institutions, integrates with projects like Europeana, and provides services for users to discover, aggregate, create, reuse, and participate with digital cultural heritage collections. These include federated search, tools to create collections and exhibitions, and APIs for developers. The platform aims to promote access to and engagement with cultural heritage materials.

▸Create and manage a collection; a user can register, use the
federated search to collect material, edit the collection or create
an exhibition, promote or share it.
▸Publish content and metadata; a provider can upload content,
ingest, map, transform and edit metadata, export the dataset as a
collection in the Technical Space or publish to Europeana.
▸Develop using the back-end and APIs; using the APIs'
documentation a third party developer can issue an API key and
use it to access data and services available in the Technical
Space from an application.

WORKFLOWS
▸Set up and manage a user group; a user can create a group,
connect it with a dedicated space, customize the latter and
create dedicated pages for its members.
▸Prepare and support a hackathon; Pilot teams create the
event's space, create and add collections to it, invite users,
set up dedicated access scenarios with corresponding terms
of use and content licenses and use the space to inform,
guide and assist developers in creating applications that
properly re-use the available CH material.
