Cave makes is that he looses his voice in the paper as a whole. Short though it is,
Cave still manages to stuff no less than eleven sources in his article. While a wide
variety and scope of outside sources in not intrinsically bad, on the contrary it
usually is desirable, summarizing the sources rather than having them back up his

2 days 15 hours 3 minutes and 4 seconds left to live. When the miniature timer in
my wrist hit 0, it will mean that my 18 years of life will end. The law was created
in the United States over a hundred years ago. Centuries after the fifth world war
had ended. Due to the overpopulation of people, the government declared that at the
age of 18, you will no longer be able to live. When you are born, officials will take
you away into a lab to implant a miniature bomb that would completely shut down
your body after your time is up. It is supposed to be a peaceful way to die. But no
matter how peaceful it was, it is beyond cruel.
My parents were killed by the same bomb after my little sister Kianna was born.
Kianna and I looked nothing alike. She had honey blonde wavy hair and a baby
face, while I had straight dark brown hair and a long narrow face. The law is that you

The ability to inspire people to feel pride towards one s country, can hinder the
ability for people to realize what is morally right and wrong. Heinrich von Treitschke,
a German historian, argued that Germans should view nationalism as the ideology to
live by. Whether it involved having to fight in wars or allowing the monarchy to
obtain the majority of the power, Germans had to do what is right for the country.
Treitschke argued that if Germanywas going to thrive among other countries, the
people of Germany had to accept the fact that not all races are created equal. These
ideologies proved to have a significant impact in the twentieth century due to the fact
that Hitler used the same ideologies in the nineteen thirties. This eventually lead to
genocide as many people were unaware of the negative consequences of nationalism.

In order to prove an idea, one must compare it to other countries in order to show its

are recognized for their bravery on the job. These politicians spoke out against what

them to be. A recent politician, who has showed immense bravery, is Gabrielle
Giffords. She is a democrat from Arizona, who was shot in the head in 2011. It was
most likely she would die. However, miraculously Giffords pulled through, and
make a remarkable recovery. I believe that Gifford s story would make an excellent
chapter in Profiles in Courage.
Gabrielle Dee Giffords was born and raised in Tucson Arizona on June 8, 1970.
Her parents were Gloria Kay Giffords and Spencer J. Giffords. Her father was a
Jewish man, and her mother practiced Christian Science, therefore she was free to
choose her beliefs. However, she decided to identify as Jewish. This made her
Arizona s first ever Jewish congresswoman. Giffords graduated from University
High School in Tucson Arizona. Then, she went on to attend Acripps College
where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in both Sociology and Latin
American History. Next, she earned her Master s degree in Regional Planning from
Cornell University. Her first job was at Price Waterhouse in New York City, were she

Trifles, written by Susan Glaspell, focuses on two major types of irony: situational
irony and dramatic irony. Situational irony, or irony in which the setting of the story
contains a built in incongruity, becomes evident because the play s only setting is
just one example of this type of irony. Glaspell also includes much dramatic irony, in
which the speaker is less aware of the full import of his or her words than the
audience is. Probably the most obvious example of situational irony in the story, the
Wrights kitchen becomes the crime scene. This is ironic because it is the one room in

The nineteen eighties were the most important and remembered decades; Ronald
Reagan, MTV, cliques, fashion icons and Blockbuster. High school was different than
today. The Breakfast Club (1985) by John Hugheswas the most iconic movie to sum
up the eighties; a movie delving into the different stereotypes and stigma of mental
illness and bullying, in high school. Adolescence was the time of transition
between childhood and adulthood; it is a time for sense of identity. (Chronological
Description) For example, there were many labels used on the students by others.
(Exemplification) There was the jock, rich girl, geek, outcast, and the rebel.
(Objective Description) In the end it had also showed that perspective stereotypes
do not matter. The clothing was represented on what was worn in the eighties, in

this era because of how the students labeled each other, disrespected one another, and
