In 2000, it ran a promotion called "Longest Love Message to Moms" to coincide with the birthday of Thailand's queen mother. The promotion invited Thai actors and the prime minister to sign a vinyl banner displayed in stores and distributed at a national parade, generating over $373,000 in additional donut sales and increasing Dunkin' Donuts' market share in Thailand.
