He discussed Octalysis, a gamification framework that identifies 8 core drives - meaning, empowerment, achievement, social interaction, unpredictability, scarcity, avoidance, and ownership. White hat drives like meaning, achievement and empowerment make people feel powerful and satisfied, while black hat drives like unpredictability and scarcity make people feel obsessed and addicted. Gamification techniques can appeal to different core drives to increase engagement with the digital workplace and build habits.

Microsoft double downed in the Enterprise Social business since the acquisition of Yammer in the summer of 2012. The acquisition was necessary due to the lacking Enterprise Social features within SharePoint and the rise of Social media. Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn were adopted by millions of people and businesses became eager to implement the Social media features within their own enterprise. A lot has changed since that summer of 2012 and Yammer isn't the only Enterprise Social service for SharePoint and Office 365. During this presentation Jasper Oosterveld (Office 365 MVP) is going to explain the current state of Enterprise Social within SharePoint and Office 365. We are going to look at the latest Enterprise Social services such as Yammer, Office 365 Groups, Delve and the Video Portal.

Jira is important for Scania as it holds critical business information and must have high uptime. Scania has multiple production and test Jira instances used for different purposes like R&D projects. Jira is used to track long-running projects over 10-20 years with ongoing development and bug fixes. While many methodologies are used, tools must be configurable to support Scania's processes. Maintaining security and performance as the system grows is an ongoing effort at Scania.
