A drive and control automation system is designed for Helicopter Main Gear Box (MGB) load test rig. The test rig consists of test rig structure in which the MGB of Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH), drive motor, adapter gear boxes are installed. Supplying all hardware & software required for the drive and control automation system for the test rig.
The test rig is a mechanical closed loop system in which the rated speed of MGB is achieved by motor through lower adaptor gearbox. In order to achieve various loads such as thrust loads, torque load and hydraulic pump loads the hydraulic power packs with actuators will be employed. The hydraulic power packs consist of motor pumps, various process switches, sensors valve, etc. which facilitate remote operation of DAS (Data Acquisition System) of the test rig. An AC alternator which is mounted on MGB is to be loaded through resistive load bank with contactor panel.

This is a presentation of research in the field of automation of steam turbines power upon 200MW of the group of Process Automation at Institute Mihajlo Pupin, Belgrade. In short, this is a model of steam turbine, which is used during the development of control algorithms steam turbine, power plant personnel training and optimization of steam turbine operation. The model has been adapted to work in real time and is applied in the form of hardware in the loop (HIL) simulation.

Abstract—
In this project, the boost-inverter topology is used as a building block for a single-phase grid-connected fuel cell (FC) system offering low cost and compactness. In addition, the pro- posed system incorporates battery-based energy storage and a dc–dc bidirectional converter to support the slow dynamics of the FC. The single-phase boost inverter is voltage-mode controlled and the dc–dc bidirectional converter is current-mode controlled. The low-frequency current ripple is supplied by the battery which minimizes the effects of such ripple being drawn directly from the FC itself. Moreover, this system can operate either in a grid-connected or stand-alone mode. In the grid-connected mode, the boost inverter is able to control the active (P) and reactive (Q) powers using an algorithm based on a second-order generalized integrator which provides a fast signal conditioning for single-phase systems. Design guidelines, simulation, and experimental results taken from a laboratory prototype are presented to confirm the performance of the proposed system.

The purpose of Integrated Test Rig is to assess performance of Fuel Cooled Oil Cooler (FCOC), HP Pump & Oil Pump prior to fitment on Aero Engine. The design of rig is such that it can cater to individual testing of individual LRU or integrated testing of all the LRU’s installed together (in combination). The pumps under test shall be mounted directly on the high-speed electric motor flange through adapter quill shaft assembly. Variable speed drives shall be provided for all the pumps under testing. The rig shall cater for real time monitoring and recording of performance parameters.

1. It has separate power packs for both the fluids i.e. ATF Power pack for ATF Fluid, OX Power Pack for OX-27 Oil.

Neometrix Optical Balloon Theodolite
• In common with other land based balloon theodolites the Neometrix theodolite OT-NEA3060 has a telescope with a bent optical axis. A secondary wide-angle telescope using the same eyepiece is selectable with a mirror. There are two pins on the tip of this instrument that serve as contacts to an attachable battery case. The Photo shows the theodolite with the battery case attached.
• In the photo above you can see the bubble level directly under the two switches. The switches control illumination of the reticule and the circles.
• You can see the accessories for this instrument, filters for the eye piece, the key to the case, lens shade, lens cap and a plumb bob. Also note the hook for hanging a stopwatch and the magnifying glass to assist reading the circles.

An Eddy current dynamometer is an electromechanical energy conversion device, which converts mechanical energy to electrical energy. It fundamentally uses Faraday’s Law of electromagnetic induction as its working principle.

Application:
Dynamometer system will test the engines parameters RPM, Torque, Power, Lube oil pressure, temperature, water temperature and result will be shown in control panel with digital meters.
Portable Barometer uses a silicon resonant pressure sensor DPS 8100 producing a pressure reading in pressure measurement units and pressure altitude. It also has a Comptek 10.1" tablet, mounted on an Aluminum enclosure. It can be used as a hand-held indicator tablet or instrument. The instrument can also communicate through a USB connector to extract out logged data. This USB port should be strictly used for App-related data transfer only. The instrument has an in-built tablet which should be used only for the TERPS App. The tablet is provided with a compatible charging adapter. This should be used only to charge the instrument. The instrument should be used within the operating and maximum safe working pressure conditions. Refer to the specification section in this manual for the details.
Sensor Port:
Keep the sensor port clean all the time. Protect the sensor against moisture, water, dirt and dust particles.
Do not block the sensor with any object as it may result in inaccurate reading output.
For better and accurate readings, keep the sensor port away from continuous pressure changing areas (for example, should not be close to AC, Fans, table fans etc.).
During pressure measurement, the device should be placed on the table or held in the orientation.
In case of hand-held application, hold the instrument as shown in Figure 3. While holding the unit, ensure that the hand does not block the sensor port.
USB Port:
This USB Port is specifically for extracting the exported data from the TERPS App. Do not use this port for any other activity. Use this port only for App-related data transfer. When not in use, close the USB port using the rubber cap.
PROJECT: TEST RIG FOR HYDRAULIC FLUID (A3987)
The test rig is used to test the anti-wear properties and the aging
behaviour of hydraulic fluids under defined and reproducible
conditions. For this purpose, a vane pump Vickers 35VQ25A-11*20
for ASTM D6973-2014 and a Bent Axis type axial piston pump
A2F10 for JCMAS P 045 are used as test objects. The subsequent
investigation of the wear inserts and oil condition then allows
conclusions about the performance of the tested fluids, especially
their ability to avoid wear and resist oxidation. The modern and
ergonomically designed test rig meets all the specifications of the
European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG to a high standard or
equivalent Indian Standard. The test rig is used to determine the
wear characteristics and oxidation/ aging of non-petroleum and
petroleum hydraulic fluids. For this purpose, a rotary vane pump
generates a test pressure under specific boundary conditions. The
result obtained is the total mass loss from the cam ring and the ten
vanes (ASTM D6973-2014) after the test. For indicating oxidation
stability or aging behaviour of hydraulic fluids this test bench, uses a
bent axis pump A2FO10 and a pressure relief valve DBDS 10
K1X/400V as load at high temperatures. The test takes place under
the influence of air and a copper catalyst. This procedure allows for
an accelerated aging rate using a real hydraulic component. The test
rig parameters meet the specifications according to ASTM D6973-
2014 and JCMAS P 045. Additionally, it is capable of carrying out the
evaluation of hydraulic fluid for frictional characteristics and energy
efficiency performance under indigenously developed and
industrially simulated test methods by varying load, speed,
temperature, pressure, flow rate etc.
Hydraulic Loading System Serves the following purpose during engine run::
Loads the Engine mounted Hydraulic Pump by Varying the Outlet restriction to achieve specific Flow Rates at specified Pressure Range.
Carry out Cyclic Load Testing of the Hydraulic Pump.

The test rig is design to work up to 120°C.
Two moog make servo valves have been provided in Rig for Cyclic Test.
Cooling System: We are using water as the medium for the cooling purpose, with the help of Heat Exchanger. Total three heat exchanger has been provided in system.
Filtration: Proper filtration has been provided and the filters have electronic clogging indicators.
The rig is developed for Hydraulic Oil (MIL-H- 5606E) or equivalent.
Three SS 304 Reservoirs of oil capacity 90, 225 and 50 liters have been provided with all related fittings.
Safety Interlocks
The Pump will not start in case the Reservoir oil level is low/ high.
The Pump will stop/ will not start, in case the oil temperature goes beyond a set limit.
There would be alarm and indication, in case any abnormality happens.
In case any of the filters are clogged, there would be alarm; Indication and the Test rig will stop.
It is also independent of the Computer automation system.
Computer: The Rig Diagnostics/ Monitoring & Recording are implemented Through the National Instruments data acquisition System and PC. The customized Software is implemented in Lab View.
This rig is designed for testing Ejection Release Units (ERU119 & ERU120) which are tested for Hook Proving Loads. These units are tested for load deformation and the test results will automatically come out as OK/NG on the basis of pre-fed Deformation & Load settings in the system. A self-contained Test Bench is provided to test both types of units.
Mechanical System:
Independent Bench for ERU119 & ERU120 is provided.
Horizontal Loading Facility for the units is provided.
Custom made fixture for holding the units, and unit profile will be accommodated in the fixture so that the unit is not damaged during testing.
LVDT with magnetic contact is provided for displacement measurement.
Both systems have Load Cells with in-situ calibration facility. In- situ calibration will be done automatically.
The Following Test Bench is for Testing Parameters of Starter Generator of
Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH).
The Test bench has following four tests :-
1) Generator Mode Load and no Load Test.
2) Starter Mode Load Test.
3) Vibration Measurement Test.
4) Concentricity And Bar to Bar Difference Measurement Test.
Test Bench Description:
This test will have a Combination of AC Motor of 5000 RPM rigidly Coupled with the Dual Output Gear Box having Ratio of 1:3 to give maximum speed of 15000 RPM at output . The output is to accommodate the shaft of 6KW Starter Generator With Suitable Clamping On the Common Flange.
Resistive Load Bank with good Cooling Facility provides load to the Starter Generator in steps of 0,50,100,150 and 200 Amp with additional loads of 300A , 375A and 450 Amp .Load is selected from the control panel through selectable switches.
A.C. Drive ABB make is also provided for this Test with Control signals

The proposed Mobile Test Facility (MTF) is a roadworthy self-sufficient test facility for testing of “Expandable Turbo Propulsion system (Expandable Engines) of up to 450kgf class” and is devised for Field Tests at various altitude sites in India ranging from sea level to High Altitudes.
“MTF” is proposed with modular design concept, where in each module is built and rigidly installed on a trailer with pre-designated system based on each modules infrastructure functionally required.

The HYDRAULIC REFILLING TROLLEY is specially designed and developed for the GROUND REFILLING of oil in aircraft systems. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. (CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

3. A drive and control automation system is designed for Helicopter Main Gear Box (MGB)
load test rig. The test rig consists of test rig structure in which the MGB of Advanced Light
Helicopter (ALH), drive motor, adapter gear boxes are installed. Supplying all hardware &
software required for the drive and control automation system for the test rig.
The test rig is a mechanical closed loop system in which the rated speed of MGB is achieved
by motor through lower adaptor gearbox. In order to achieve various loads such as thrust
loads, torque load and hydraulic pump loads the hydraulic power packs with actuators will
be employed. The hydraulic power packs consist of motor pumps, various process switches,
sensors valve, etc. which facilitate remote operation of DAS (Data Acquisition System) of the
test rig. An AC alternator which is mounted on MGB is to be loaded through resistive load
bank with contactor panel.
