1. What is your origin?
“I’moriginally fromthe streets of Birmingham, I grew up with my step
mother and grand mother. I attended St Patricks Performing arts academy
until I advanced within my music career.”
2. Who inspired you to get into music?
“2Pac A.K.A Tupac Shakur, becausehe was such a motivational
influence, to me he was a word smith for hip hop music.”
3. What do you like about him?
“The way he captivated millions with his powerfullyrics, hegave music a
deeper meaning in which others had yet to know”
4. Have you got a special someone?
“Right now, family is the most important thing to me, because they have
been so supportiveover these pastfew years with my music career and
I’d justlike to give back the love they have given me. I work so hard on
my music thought, that I don’t havetime for relationships right now.”
5. What challenges did you face when firstgetting into the music scene?
“Exposure, it was really hard to get noticed whereI’mfromas other
people weretrying to do well in music, so to exceed them I had to stand
out fromthe crowd.”
6. What the motivates you when creating music?
“Seeing the reaction people give when they are listening to my music, it
makes me feel like I’vedonesomething right and gives me the
motivation to create more music.”
7. How old where you when you made your firstsong?
2. “Back when I was in year 7 I wrote a song to impress a girl that I liked,
she liked the song… But she didn’tlike me.”
8. Why do you choose not to use profanities?
“So my music can appeal to everyoneand when on radio my songs
won’tcut or changed so the meaning will stay intact.”
9. What’s your signaturewhen it comes to you as an artist?
“My signature, it has to be my golden microphone, I saved up for it for
many years while I was getting into the grime scene, now I useit to
symbolisethe richness of my music.
10.What do you think of UK grime in general?
“It’s growing quiterapidly, and it’s getting exposure globally as it is lead
by Skepta who took the UK Grime scene over to the USA and it has
inspired thousands to create music within the genre.”
11.If you could change your genreof music whatwould it be?
“If I could change my music to anything other than grime? It would have
to be pop balled, becauseit’s easy to connect, write and understand,
I’vewritten some in the past, however I haven’treleased any to the
public.”
12.If you could do a collaboration with anyonewho would it be?
“Tiny Tempah becausehe understands music like no other musician and
was partly the reason I went into grime. His style of expression, I’d like
him to pass onto me.”
13.How long do you plan on making music?
“Considering Dr Dreis in now in his 50’s, I’d liketo be making music for
as long as he has, I justpray I get the amount of supportI requirein
order for me to keep this up.”
14.Is there anything in your new album your fans should look out for?
“DreamChaser, it’s got an amazing beat and amazing flow, put together
with my lyrics, it’ll give nourishmentto your ears.”
